Is this the one with mritter idea builded in? The changelog isnt clear enough for me. maybe better write something like this: 12-12-2005 More improvements to the category selection feature. Now supports up to 9,999 entries. 28-12-2005 Added undo.reg. Added Commandline support. (Thanks cribban) Added CDSwitch into the tools folder. Added Config Lister into the tools folder. 29-12-2005 Minor cosmetic changes. 14-1-2006 Major re-write of the manual. Audio Player now closes after installations are complete. (Thanks billjrm) Transparent .png images are now supported. (Thanks LaptoniC) Or, make the newest lines bolded or keep it in subcatagory "NEW" till the next version. -
Nice to hear that.

My results: Opera and IE: Asked me to download it or open it.. i choose to download it and double clicked the icon to open windows fax and picture viewer. Viewer opens with the message: No example aviable (translated from dutch to english). And yes, i have the WMFpatch installed from microsoft... But nice movie, now i know how it looks. Thanks!

mritter, thanks for emailing me, i like your idea too. i make the same mistake as you (forgotting to edit generate.js) and didnt know anymore exactly which files to edit, so i stay at the old version (4.3.5). Now, i hope kelsenellenelvian grab your ideas and put it in the new version. B)

Daemon Tools 4.03 how to install it?
Solid as a rock replied to Solid as a rock's topic in Application Installs
Ok, thanks... i will give a new try to this. edit: i am unsure the difference between both Au3? Am i right if i use my own method to reboot i have to use the second Au3? -
I am wondering to see nothing about DT 4.03, are there newer ways than the AutoIt for 4.00 from MHZ which dont work properly for me. (after setup DT isnt installed). I have searched but nothing about 4.03. So, enlighten me if you have a good way to install this.

i have tryed the test again with kaspersky disabled, opera 8.51 still do nothing. IE6 freeze up and nothing more...
-
i have give it a try too with opera 8.51 and XP SP2 with all hotfixes. kaspersky immediality popups with a warning and question to remove it or keep it. nothing happened further. edit: tryed with IE6 and the same popup from kaspersky too. i dont use FF so i cant test that but i believe kaspersky defents it too..

the easiest way is run the patch, grab your uxtheme.dll in your I386 and create a Selfinstaller (SFX) which will copy itself to I386. add this to your disk and make a commandline in your cmd or WPI or whatever. the most easiest way is: copy the uxtheme.dll and cab it to uxtheme.dl_ and place it handmatically in your I386 setup every time when you create a disk. the patcher, i dont know how to run it unattended, maybe you had to ask it in that forum...

As a sidenote, how Do you get the screenshot of the tree? open your disk in windows explorer ALT+printscrn (at your keyboard) paste in paint cut things out which isnt important save it as a jpg load it to a post by using file attachements ready!

no need to extract it (why make it bigger if it could be smaller), no need to add regkeys. no need to hocus pocus. pirrup way is the easiest and smallest and working way.... (read Page 2) but you all are free to choose which way you like...
-
to be honest, the size and date isnt interest. Next time do this to explain how your diskstructure is. do it looks like this a bit?

Solid as a rock replied to polsa's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
i noticed this will enable the software and audio button too... -
no, the [ ] is for WPI, meaning beginning and ending a commandline. i dont know which way you follow to install this. i guess you dont use WPI.... But the line must be something like this: %cdrom%\\Applications\\VMware\\VMware.exe /s /v" /qn INSTALLDIR="xxxxxxx" ADDLOCAL=ALL DISABLE_AUTORUN=0 SERIALNUMBER=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx DESKTOP_SHORTCUT=1"

Solid as a rock replied to Solid as a rock's topic in Wallpapers & Icons
i dont understand what it is? it is no ico? -
i want add a icon to my Partition Magic but i cant find useable icon for it because the icon which partition magic use is inside the exe and i cant grab it and there is no .ico. so where i can find beautifullic XP-icons as if "FOOOD" and "XPize" do for free? i have googled for free icons but i dont like them. edit: i noticed the winrar themes which also give SFX another styled icons, also noted the one created by simonsays.(was wondering a bit to read your name at winrar.com) cute work!!
