Do it by yourself. patch your MSN, and look at the directory of msn(\programfiles\msn messenger) and look which files are renamed to .backup. that are the orginal files, so you grab the patched files and rar it in a SFX installer and excute it after the unattended install of MSN.... your post is really needles without telling how you had do this...

Replace RunonceEx to WPI , HELP
Solid as a rock replied to Oliii's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
why dont you read the manual which is included with WPI? listen... you can set multiconfigs, for example, you have 3 sorts pc (PC1=school PC2=home PC3=office). on PC1 you need to install program 1 , 2 , 4 , 7. on PC2 you need to install 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 6, 7 on PC3 you need to install 6 and 7. this is not really needed, it is a feature of WPI, to choose 3 (of more) configs. i have disable the multiconfig by removing all lines with "home, office, school". maybe i will use it in the future. i am kindly new to WPI (i use now 2 weeks) is it clear for you? please dont ask so much, read the manual which is included in your WPI. very good question, i noticed the same as you. -
Java switchless installation problem
Solid as a rock replied to saitoh183's topic in Application Installs
ah i see; the jusched eat 2 MB, that is huge and i am sure it can be lower. but i dont care, my total used MB is 217 MB, i am not happy when used 215 MB, however... the information at that link is probally only for the 1.4.2. which is very old. if you use 1.5.0.5 the switches given by keytotime works fine.... (have already tested it) but again: would the switch mozilla=1 give me problems if i dont install mozilla? -
Replace RunonceEx to WPI , HELP
Solid as a rock replied to Oliii's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
I dont understand you... Im speaking about the configurations line in the Config menu where I set up which program will be installed and how... This line is under the Category dropdown box. Clear?? i understand now where you talking about, but i am very unsure what your question is? you want to know why a checkbox (of a aplication) stay checked (called forced install)? or why some checkboxes are checked and other dont? for both questions: RTFM which is included to your WPI. i think you could better ask to kelsenellenelvian, i think he understand you better then i do... -
Java switchless installation problem
Solid as a rock replied to saitoh183's topic in Application Installs
i have give the orginal non-silented java.exe a try. i dont see any "javaupdate.exe" (dont know the exactly name of it) eaten up my memory, also when entering configscreen>java>update> you will see it is set at "monthly check at updates". i have a question: if i add mozilla to the commandline you give me and dont install mozilla (i usually dont), give it me trouble? java.msi /qb-! Custom=1 AddLocal=ALL IExplorer=1 Mozilla=1 Javaupdate=1 Reboot=Suppress -

Solid as a rock replied to Avneet's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
then use in your cmd: "REGEDIT /S %cdrom%\INSTALL\regoptimalization\giveitausefullname.reg" or "REGEDIT /S %cdrom%\giveitausefullname.reg" or "REGEDIT /S %cdrom%\IAMSOHAPPY\giveitausefullname.reg" or or or... it is not obligatorily to place this in $OEM$, create a map and call it what you want, add the regedit /s and the pathname and you are gone. no need to integrate it in SVCPCK methode... -

i think i dont understand your question. are you talking about the skinned windows during runonceex or my own theme when entering windows after setup? if you means the skinned windows, read the first post carefully , if you means my own theme. i write in winnt.sif this: [Shell] CustomDefaultThemeFile=%Systemroot%\Resources\Themes\Breeze.theme

my documents is disappeared from my computer, i believe it occurs when i moving my documents to D: instead of C: how to get them back? i have searched at "NonEnum" in my register and it looks fine. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\NonEnum] "{BDEADF00-C265-11D0-BCED-00A0C90AB50F}"=dword:00000001 "{6DFD7C5C-2451-11d3-A299-00C04F8EF6AF}"=dword:40000021 "{0DF44EAA-FF21-4412-828E-260A8728E7F1}"=dword:00000020 i have searched on MSFN and create a regfile: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders] "Favorites"="D:\\Favorieten" "Personal"="D:\\Mijn documenten" "My Pictures"="D:\\Mijn documenten\\Mijn afbeeldingen" it dont solve my problem, i am very unsure why i get this problem, i have searched in my regtweak.reg to "enum" which Maxxsoft is described and didnt fing any hits. my documents still exist, and all links to my documents works, i am only missing the my documents icoon in my computer. my shared documents still exist. i dont use nlite at all.
