What do that service really do? I have googled at it and the only thing i read is everyone want to remove it, but none of them tell why what that service really do... Edit: As long you use PowerDvd to look dvds and nothing more, it is really useless to use richvideo....

I dont use Nlite but i use RVMI. Will a package created with nlitecabmaker work in RVMI? I dont want a cab, i want a selfinstaller to use with WPI (so i have the choise to install it or not)

I have searched as first in wpi.htm, no results, then i notice the second line, and searched in configwizard.js, then i looked better and searched in configwizardtemplate.htm and also configwizardtemplateconfig.htm.... Never found any match except configwizard.js but only the word layerconfig nothing more do match. (i again take a look in wpi.htm and again dont found any match with "layer")

I get stuck with this. searching in configwizardtemplate.htm with ctrl+f dont give any match at "layerconfig". If i download a new 5.1, is this fixed in it or do i need to fix it by myself?

I have a own SFX-installer. It always works (7.5 and lower) but now with WML things are changed? I have 2 patched files msnmsgr.exe and msnmsgr.dll and run the msnmsgr.msi with the /QN switch. After this all i click at messenger and get a error. "Cant find msncore.dll". Copy that file over wont fix the problem. I know you did it with a 7z installer, but i am really curious why my way doesnt work anymore? Do i need to install the "wllogin.msi" too? I have give shark way a try. I really dont understand it at all. First, in the small downloadpackage there is talking about replacing files. The 7z file is empty. Maybe Shark is talking about the other bigger package. CHanging it with winrar isnt possible, so i choose to extract. The messlive.msi must be overwritten to get a dutch version i understand from ZileXa post. But the messlive.msi is 500 KB and the dutch msnmsgr.msi is 1500 KB? I thought i only need to rename the file but the size of it let me make unsure that i am on the right way. So Zilexa, please enlighten me....

if you really want to install from CD, there is no need to place this in $OEM$. Place all what is not needed to copy in seperate maps without "$BLAHBLAH$", this will shorten your setupinstall because this isnt copied over. So XPCD\Install\WPI\WPI.CMD "%cdrom%\install\Applications\AdobeReader6\AdbeRdr60_enu_full.exe -p"-s /v\"/qn\"" Please help asap isnt really what i (and other people) do like to see, next time i want to see you really readed ANY howtos (the one from MSFN is very good), or do some search. How is this possible? You tell me this problem is fixed in WPI lite 1.2 and WPI 4.3.8 but the second WPI is still the same version as i have used in the past? (and my problem do exist in both WPI) However i will give 1.2 a try...

Oh? Am i the only one with this problem? Now, i use clean WPI and the only thing i change is "run this from CD" in WPI options itself and also change "give WPI borders" in WPI.hta to easy switch betweens windows. I use my own config.js and that is it. I dont change WPI.cmd (from dp0 to cdrom). I really thought there are more people who have the same problem as i....
