is your $OEM$ directory capitalized? it probly should be if it isnt, windows has some weird probs like that & the directory structure is correct?

maybe your windows installer service is disabled? btw, a "clean" xp isnt 1 that has sp1 integrated into it

i too have known about it, some registry cleaners (RegSupreme Pro) have an option to "remove x application from uninstall menu" thus deleting said reg entry

i think u have 2 disable the firewall, i remove it completely

copy the winntbbu.dll & winntbbu.dll_ (they should both be there i think) from your original xp cd onto your source, i think thats all u need, if that dont work, just copy the source & redo it

hi, in the boot.ini file u have, it gives the location of your partition your OS is installed 2, u can copy that & change the numbers for the other drive so it could/should work
