been considering the same idea for battlefield 2. I was thinking of just copying the folder thats installed on my current system and then using the $Progs to copy it over but im guessing i would need to find if thiers any registry settings that need exporting and re-importing? Could work same for Doom!

I noticed that code mentions "classic start menu" is that ok because I dont want classic menu lol.

My Recycle Bin has disapeared off my desktop, possiibly due to running my regtweak on my unattended disk. Is there anyway to get it back without having for format again

it was the latest trial from their site. like I said it wont let me move the icons, if I try and drag the recycle bin elsewhere on my desktop it will make it a shortcut

ok finished my unattended but having a very annoying problem, my mouse wont select the icons properly, if i try and move a icon it keeps creating a shortcut instead of moving the icon. btw im talking about the desktop icons like the recyclebin, also it wont select the icons unless I click on one @ a time (cant select all using the drag mouse action) I havent installed any reg tweaks so it cant be anything like that. also im only running the installation on Virtual PC , not tried it on a real pc yet. Please Help.

thanks. it turns out I remember stopping a service called "msiexec" from my task manager, seems this was why noting would run thanks again

"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if u are running in safe mode, or if the Windows installer is not correctly installed." My disk worked fine yestaday and all I added today was Acrobat Reader and Photoshop and also ran some Service Pack 2 hotfixes using nlite to intergrate them. Now I get the above message when it trys to installed msn 6.2 or the .net framework silently. Any ideas ?
