@Rodent, delete the previous installer and just rebuilt your installation. there are many differences between versions to simply drag and drop to update your previous 6.6.0.0.

this isn't a help for the autoit script but to left it clear just open your command prompt (cmd.exe from run dialog for example) and then type "SET" without quotes to see the variables available. note: some of them like %APPDATA% won't be available until windows is fully installed so don't use them on cmdlines.

good find but... this is only the installer, with my guide you can built your own installer in a minute, you can remove components and so on but the main purpose of what i wrote is that you can import your own profile, thing that you can't do with this. sorry Astalavista don't want to offend, good find indeed

as i see, install sp2 once is installed xp gives a lot (a LOT) of problems. i recommend every1 to slipstream it into the original installation files and then remove services and so on with nlite. then, when the f***** security center and those amount of unnecessary services and tools are removed, it works like charm ps: i can see superb and great... where is "flawless victory" (just a stupid joke from a Mortal Kombat fan )

there is an old post from one of the oldest admins that explains well how to install ps7 and ps CS silently. no need of iss files, just call the installer do a little search or just use sleep.

this is from the official roadmap of firefox so at least until 11/10 no (i want to update when the final version is released), but as you can read this date is moving again and again so i can't say anything at this moment.
