I've just seen this on another forum. It's a simple game, you have to select from a two options question. Rules: 1.- Reply one (or more) question(s) until asking 2.- Select one, both or none 3.- Be tolerant with questions/replies Let me start... Star Wars or Star Treck?

right click your desktop and select properties, once there configuration>advanced and there, options. just check/uncheck

the icons are from alienware theme. installer can be extracted with winrar and was created with http://www.zupmaker.com but i can't find any switches, again the best i think is to apply the patch and replace the files on winrar installer... nice theme and i can preserve my language. cool! B)

it's easier, just apply the patch and then replace Descript.ion, Default.SFX, Zip.SFX, WinRAR.exe and rarnew.dat in the winrar installer

at the moment i don't know any app that can do it. i know about 1 app that can set as background a .swf (flash animation file) and there are screensavers editors that let you build a new saver from a .swf file. if you want to create one yourself... create a new html with your swf, set the web page as background (active desktop enabled). find a free screensaver creator and build your own from that swf... sorry but this is the only way i can help

ok i'm not one of those mods but mine has been tested and works perfect you probably won't understand what some of those batch files do, sometimes they remove/rename files just to look better, other times they'll call a 2nd cd or a 3rd dvd. just be sure to check the switches and if you don't understand something, ask for it RunOnceEx.cmd

probably switches are case-sensitive, try "/S" about kazaa, sorry but i don't use it and don't know the switch. take a look onto the sticked app switches thread or do a simple search...

@kurt476 go ahead in that case and good luck i disabled the integrated video card but that wasn't enough and after a week of formating and flashing i simply gave up. @DigeratiPrime, i agree. at least 90% of them. chankast (DC), PCSX2 (PS2) and dolphin (GC) are the only exceptions and all of them are still on deployment

i built mine based on his i started using a 500x100 signature but i decided to change it a few months ago just to be picky with the current rules. i personally don't mind to see anything smaller than 600x200, i can understand that some people don't like them because they fill their lowbands with stupids jpgs. the thing is just apply common sense, if you don't use anything annoying i'm sure admins won't have a problem

i had a similar problem with my old 667, was an ibm netvista with everything integrated onboard. it hasn't got any agp slots so i needed a pci graphic card and i decided to buy a "new" gforce mx440 (3 years ago). the experience was the worst in my hardware life, the pci slots on those cards causes a bottleneck so i got the perfect unstable and hanging system and i couldn't play more than 5min until the bsod. i'll recommend a native pci card like the 64mb's tnt2 or one of the old voodoo generation if you don't want to run advanced 3d renders (at the moment my old 667 uses a voodoo2 for hardware aceleration and it has a tv capture card so i can view tv while writing here )

don't wanna offend but... i find it really similar to mine i can only notice a few differences, you still use the setup.iss method and not the silent switch (better to provide the setup.iss file). you use batches to start the installation, that means you use cmdlines and as an advice i would recommend to use runonce, registry is not really stable at that point of installation. if you don't use the "if exists" sentence, the package will always try to get installed and the installation will fail. finally the most important for me, you use $OEM$ folders and not a compression method, with this you lose about 2MB for other purposes

sorry i can't understand you too well. for what i can read you have a 9800se softmodded card and flashed it with a 9800se bios and modified clock values (380/340). you want to reflash it with a 9800pro bios and want to know if it could be a problem the different memory brands? did i understand ok? first you must know that flashing your card with a different model/brand bios will brake your warranty so be sure that both are compatible (google is a nice friend). different memory (or a different speed) will seriously damage your card! make sure is the same memory brand and the same response time. what to do when you flashed your card with a wrong bios? you need a pci card (i used my old 2mb card from my 200mmx ), unplug the agp (damaged card). start your pc and set as your primary graphic the pci one and shut down. re-plug your agp card and restart then reflash with the correct bios and power off. unglug your pci card. that's all, hope it helps
