i mostly use drag&drop: ctrl+drag will copy the file, shift+drag will move the file and alt+drag will create a shortcut. another tip similar is selecting files with ctrl or shift pressed...
xp language is independant for this, but you need to have office on spanish, other way this shrinker won't work. but i can't help if you want to use the english located office with spanish keyboard and spanish language settings, sorry
well, long time ago i downloaded a copy of a working office shrinker (spanish lang). follow steps as explained on the office shrink thread with attached .exe. i've been successful and my sp1-lite installation works perfect shrink48.zip
if you feel your p2p programs slower than with sp1, if you got a low-id when connecting to donkey net or if you find another similar issue, then the file hasn't been 'properly' installed
as said the best u can do is search. just to be clear, this reg works for me: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\TuneUp\Utilities\4.0] "UserName"="BioHaZaRD" "Company"="BioHaZaRD iND. CoRP." "RegCode"="" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TuneUp\Utilities\4.0] "UserName"="BioHaZaRD" "Company"="BioHaZaRD iND. CoRP." "RegCode"=""
mmm i'm not that sure... it could be perfectly win2k3 64bit sp1 slipstreamed... all of you know what happen with those donkey net files. to be sure compare the file size with the one located on microsoft server, 501.89M. there are 3 files with that exact name and different sizes, maybe 1 of them is what you downloaded and what is causing problems so open that file with WinISO or mount it with Daemon-Tools and take a look at the files inside... if it's correct size and contents then sorry
sorry, discussion about illegal software is not allowed on this forum. some moderator will close this thread. about your problem, well let me suggest you downloaded a fake ps: welcome to msfn
do a search on the forums, you'll find instructions from @Astalavista on how you can edit the winntbbu.dll file and a thread with completed ones... edit: after re-reading your post i think you're talking about text-mode setup. at the moment i haven't read about to change it but... you can change the colors of the command prompt so there must be a way...
what i would do: first try to open the installer with an extracting tool like winrar or something, if that's not possible i would do it the hard way... use regshot to take care of what files are replaced/updated by the installer on %WINDIR% and %PROGRAMFILES% folders then i would simply use modifype+makecab to replace my files on the i386 folder... but i think this has nothing to do with nlite (correct me if it's necessary ) edit: forgot to say welcome to msfn
i'd recommend it too, the difference between mine and lvllord's is the numbers of connections (100 for me) but it won't make a notable difference. it's just that i'm a little picky
go to tools>preferences>advanced. validation options are at the bottom of the window, there check "don't use ocsp for certificates..." or something similar
