  1. You are right, sorry. I've read your post, but forgot about it when was writing the answer. But anyway, why not to use Win98 without IE and with Win95 shell? There is a 98lite app which do this. Or you may google Mindows and Nano98.
  2. Well, not actually. As I know Win98 SE requires 16 Mb RAM, and Win95 OSR requires 8 Mb (original, not OSR version required 4 Mb, but it was hard to install it, and it was extremely slow on such PCs, my friend tried to install it on 386 with 4 MB). And I have experience of running Win98 on 16 MB RAM. It is not so bad, but 16 MB memory turns the multitasking system to singletasking . I wanted to use Win95, but had a bad distributive, which refused to run. So, I had to install and use Win98. But actually, you are quite right, Win98 has all the good sides of Win95 and does not have many of its bugs. I don't understand people, still using Win95 except for licensing issue or severe hardware limitation. In this case I don't think they need this update. But I know at least one man, using Windows 95 on not so old notebook just because he likes it. As for nLited XP SP3, it has much bigger requirements than Win98.
  3. Yes, I want Vista-like or at least XP-like start menu with recently used programs most of all.
  4. Tihiy promised it this year. Waiting.
  5. Wow! The theme is GREAT!!! Before this theme I usually switched theme once a day, but now it seems I found my favorite. I liked other themes because they are XP or Vista like, but this is the fist theme for Win98 that isn't like anything other. I can even say it worth to install Win98 to see your theme Great work! 100 % agree with cyberformer.
