I have been experimenting with gpedit.msc to make a internet cafe pc. I want to be able to add all registry changes to a .reg file so i can add it to multiple pcs. How do i find out what gpedit.msc does to registry. Is there a web site that lists them or a program to compare the registry before & after modification. Regard Colin

I've found the answer I think. User Configuration->Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer -> Browser Menus : "File Menu Disable closing the browser and Explorer windows" I've not tried it yet. EDIT: Yes it works. Regards Colin

@glowy I've tried it works but with one problem if you close internet explorer down you cant start it again is there a way of preventing shuting down IE Regards Colin

@grond I have tried your sugestion and cant find User Configuration/System/Run Only Allowed Windows Applications User configuration only has Software settings (Nothing in this section) Windows settings or administrative templates

When you boot off the windows XP cd you will get an option to select a partition or delete it. select delete then recreate a partion & format it dont select quick format. Regards Colin

I have the same motherboard & mine worked ok when installing windows to a 2nd drive (IDE) it recognised sata drive. May be if you install driver packs folowing the instructions it should work foy you. Chears Colin EDIT: Iused method 2.

I have just received an email from www.maplin.co.uk They are selling a 2600+ Motherboard Bundle which includes (amoungst other things) a Sempron 2600+ Processor and a Sempron Ready -Socket A motherboard, but you guys have told me Sempron isnt socket A. 2600+ Motherboard Bundle So will a Sempron work in socket A? Will it work on my motherboard the K7S5A? Look forward to hearing from some one on this matter as I'm still looking to upgrade!
