    Hi. The reason of IE7 and IE8 would not work on Windows 2000 is that the following reasons. * The SHLWAPI.DLL has 2 type structure XP and Windows 2000, and it is not compatible. ( For example explorer can't show some icon image and crush when You run explorer.exe with XP mode ) * IE 7 and IE 8 were separated from shell functions, XP's kernel has many fuctions for them , but 2000 one has not it, I embedded some of them , but there are some functions which I would not do. ( For example DCOM Service) * IE 7 and IE 8 requires LUNA Interface. I think that Internet explorer has many many vulnerabilities, so there is little advantage to use it on Windows 2000.     * MS12-052(KB2722913) requires roots update after 2012. * Extended core can be installed always. * Extended core is worked for XP Drivers and limit break 4G and CPU 2 cores, Extended kernel is worked for XP applications.

    There are some problems. 1. The difference of BaseAddress in kernel32 and user32.dll 2. I include some locale dependency code in kernel32, for example other dlls base address and country code. There are some reasons that i could not make other language extended kernel. 1. I must get all original Dlls for the language. 2. I must apply changing base address of the country version each other. 3. I must import resource in it. 4. I must customize create advapi32.dll in resource. 5. I must create the test envrionment. These are beyond too much for me

    The RENESAS USB3.0 requires Windows 2000 Extended Kernel Kit from Hfslip. Now If one wants to use Haswell VGA on XP or 2000, one can't avoid using the universal VESA VBE driver.

    Hi. Plz Try to create EXtended kernel DVD from hfslip. It makes the USB compatible to XP.     VBEMP driver makes you to be able to select SXGA and fullcolor ? Cause of the VBEMP does not have DX component , so cam software would not work if cam software use directX.

    I tried it, It seem no error in device manager but my security cam software doesnt work. If i add discrete VGA it works. It need reboot after install. Did you do it?

    I tested to change ProcessorAffinityMask on 4 Cores and 8 thread Intel CPU on Windows 2000 before. It waaaaaaaaaaaaaaays up the performance 120% !!!     Which is cause of problem , extended kernel or core ? and what version your previous version ? And do you have all windows update ? On my english environment has no problem. Environment: VMPlayer 5.0.2 on XP SP3 with 4GB patch, i5-3450, Intel B75 chipset, 4GB DDR3 VM Settings: 1 core (ACPI Uniprocessor PC) 256MB RAM SCSI 4GB Disk (vmscsi) vmxnet with VMWare Tools 7.8.4 / 9.2.2 installed Extended Kernel v24b Game / Extended Core v14c

    Really? Can you tell me the environment before you install it, and version and which install first it or same time ? ( and single core or multi core ?)

    I released Extended Kernel v2.4b2. It was applied MS14-019 update. It has DirectX 10stub runtime option. And I fixed the auto Disabler "Vista MUI" problem. If your Windows 2000 's mouse property crush when you select any tab, try to use Game Fix version. Thx.
