  1. Homepage If you've ever been unable to delete a file in Windows, and can't figure out what program's using it, Unlocker is the solution. Have you ever seen these Windows error messages? •Cannot delete folder: It is being used by another person or program •Cannot delete file: Access is denied •There has been a sharing violation. •The source or destination file may be in use. •The file is in use by another program or user. •Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. Unlocker can help! Simply right-click the folder or file and select Unlocker. If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear. Simply click Unlock All and you are done! Features: no Bing or Quickstores toolbar UnlockerAssistant is not set as auto startup This inf addon uses regini.exe (comes with XP) to change registry permission during installation. Registry permission was restored to original setting after installation/uninstall. It is suggested to test in VM first even if you are slipstreaming into XP Tested in XP ENU only, HFSlip & nlite. 2. Dun know if this will work. Pls test in WM first. Perhaps just tell entries.ini not to install 1.1 in the first place. so that you could install your own version of 1.1.4x [Sysoc] ;NetFx11=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,NetFx11.inf,,7
  3. OnePiece Update pack for .NET Framework 1.1 by default will not be shown on 'Add/Remove Windows Components' list. What you need to do is to remove 'hide' for Entries.ini (You can unpack the big archive to edit Entries.ini) Then repack back. Edit as follows in Entries.ini [Sysoc] ;NetFx11=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,NetFx11.inf,hide,7 NetFx11=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,NetFx11.inf,,7 After you integrate, there should be 2 folders as follows: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705 C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322 You can also check in 'Add/Remove Windows Components' that 1.1 is listed. See below screenshot (36.6MB is v1.1) (with OnePiece_Windows_XP_Post-SP3_UpdatePack_v4.6.1_ENU.7z) Hope that helps
  4. Yes, need to break away and stop thinking over it for a few days if still can't figure out why fail. I do that when I really get struck and nothing I tried seems right. When relook a few days later with a completely fresh state of mind, my perspective might change and a solution might just prop up. Good luck.
  5. Hi 10kman I would suggest you simplies your installation method. Wrap Office 2007 with Winrar SFX as silent installer. Then Slipstream into svcpack folder using standard svcpack.inf method. But you run the Office installer during RunonceEx. You can take my uTorrent addon as sample approach. IMHO, this method is easy once you get the hang of it. The output will be like this: Svcpack.inf only add RunOnceEx entry. Hence installation only take place during RunonceEx. And installation will be from your DVD disc. Regards
  6. Homepage WMPCDText is a free Windows Media Player plug-in for reading CD-Text information from audio CDs. The plug-in is written for Windows Media Player 10 and higher. CD-Text is an extension of the audio CD-standard that allows you to store additional information on an audio CD, such as album name, album artist and track info. Many audio players like Winamp and RealPlayer can read CD-Text but Windows Media Player never supported it. Until now, because WMPCDText will read CD-Text directly from within Windows Media Player. There is an option to automatically read CD-Text from unknown audio CDs. Alternatively, you can also right-click on a CD-track in the Now Playing-pane while the CD is playing, and click "Read CD-Text" (see screenshot below). WMPCDText especially comes in handy when using Windows Media Player for playing home-made audio CDs. Before WMPCDText, you would have to insert all the track information of such a CD manually into Windows Media Player. Now, just make sure that the CD-Text information is burned onto the CD, play the burned CD with Windows Media Player, and WMPCDText will automatically read the track information from the CD itself and insert it into the Media Library. For reading CD-Text on Windows XP and 2003, administrator rights are required. WMPCDText_1.2_addon.cab Size: 395.56 Kb (405,056 bytes) MD5: 11B8B41048ED195FD806FD4B61E7780A
  7. Homepage The plug-in is written for Windows Media Player 11 or higher. WMP Tag Plus is a free Windows Media Player plug-in that adds support for reading and writing tags (metadata) of MPEG-4, FLAC, Vorbis and WavPack files. After installing WMP Tag Plus, MPEG-4, FLAC, Vorbis and WavPack files will be added to the WMP library, together with the tags that they contain. When you edit their tags in the library, the changes will be saved back to the files too. With this plug-in, using files of these formats in WMP becomes completely seamless, you probably won't even notice the difference with the default supported formats such as MP3 or Windows Media Audio! For example, WMP Tag Plus allows you to use WMP's Advanced Tag Editor to edit the tags of MPEG-4, FLAC, Vorbis and WavPack files, something that wasn't possible with older tag support plug-ins for WMP. Another problem with these older plug-ins was that they didn't read the track length of files of the new formats, and that you usually couldn't seek such files while they were playing. WMP Tag Plus addresses both of these issues. Please bear in mind that WMP Tag Plus only adds metadata support, and that the following additional packages might need to be installed to enable WMP to play the new formats: FLAC and Vorbis: the Xiph.org DirectShow filters MPEG-4: Haali's Media Splitter together with FFDShow WavPack: the DirectShow filter at the official WavPack website WMPTagPlus-1.2_addon.cab Size: 882.11 Kb (903,278 bytes) MD5: B285F39EAE8FB62682570CBDAB3951E3
  8. Homepage (Windows Media Player Plus! is written for Windows Media Player 11 or higher) Windows Media Player Plus! is a free plug-in for Windows Media Player that adds various user interface and playback enhancements. It includes the following enhancements: Tag Editor Plus: an alternative for Windows Media Player's Advanced Tag Editor. Tag Editor Plus works on Windows Media Player 12 too, where the original Advanced Tag Editor has been removed. Global hotkeys, allowing you to control Windows Media Player from within any running application. Party Shuffle: a dynamic playlist, that automatically gets filled up with randomly picked songs. Of course, you can still add songs yourself, and reorder/remove songs, just like with a normal playlist. Very useful while throwing a party, as a DJ aid, or just for casual listening. Real 'find as you type' in the library: you can simply start typing to search, without having to click on the Search field first. Access the standard Explorer right-click menu of a media file directly from within Windows Media Player. Restore last active playlist, media item, and playback position at Windows Media Player startup. Show currently playing media in Windows Media Player's title bar. Advanced playback options: Stop after current and Close after current, to automatically stop playback or close Windows Media Player when the current media has ended. Let Windows Media Player play/pause when you press the space bar. Disable group headers in the Library Pane Enhanced and configurable replacement of the Windows Live Messenger Music plug-in (What I'm Listening To). Access the properties/settings of any Windows Media Player plug-in from within the main menu (Tools - Plug-in properties), without having to go to Options first. "Play next" option when right-clicking a media item in Windows Media Player 11's library (Windows Media Player 12 already has this by default). Quickly re-enable all plug-ins after a Windows Media Player crash. WMPPlus-2.1_addon.cab Size: 912.83 Kb (934,738 bytes) MD5: 587797C51CEBBAFC5A0945BABEF28EC6

So the next system start is absolutely silent even if you forgot to turn the sound off in previous session. After restart you can unmute sound effects manually, using a shortcut combination (Ctrl+F10). Moreover, you may use this keyboard shortcut to quickly switch the sound on and off when working. 15. No problem. Those codes are really not complex. Glad u found MSFN forum and post your problem : Where People Go To Know.
  16. Glad to help. You own it to yourself that you understand what I'm trying to say via autoit script. Majority of Softwares store their registration detail in registry. As such, use some registry monitoring tool such as Registry Unicode, registry shot to compare before and after changes. Hence import like any registry tweak. Helpful tools: Registry jumper can helps you navigate quickly to the key to perform export/backup. CMenu can help you convert .reg to .au3 syntax (addon here) Get to know more of Autoit functions under it's help file such as "Registry Management", "Window Management, Controls","File, Directory and Disk Management" & "Keyboard Management". Autoit Macro are also important such as @ComputerName, @WindowsDir, @UserProfileDir etc Then you can launch the program and write your script to enter registration detail. I would suggest once you know how to do that, add some checking code such that entering detail of registration is made only if it is valid. Validity check such as checking against Computername or User's creditial before proceeding. or even read HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion, 'RegisteredOrganization" key This is to prevent abuse if compiled script lies in wrong hand.

  18. Use autoit with inno setup wizard install (Of course it is not silent anymore but still a workable solution). Autoit is able to deselect the items you do not want if you install via it's innosetup wizard screen. My next personal option would be inf script but it's tough and time-comsuming to turn it into an inf addon
  19. Well, I don't really know what is your problem but I notice in your HFTOOLS folder, you do not have HFANSWER.INI. (It's an answer file use by HFSlip) My HFANSWER.INI goes like this DRIVERCOMP=F SBOOTPATH= MBOOTPATH= DELCATS= BACKUPSOURCE= NOLOGCOPY=1 ISONAME=HFLiteXP_ ISOTITLE= FORCECDIMAGE= CDIMGSW=-h -j1 -m MKISSW=-relaxed-filenames -d -D -N -J -no-emul-boot -no-iso-translate -boot-load-size 4 MAKENOISO= OVERWRITEISO= IE7BACKUP= IE7GUILOGON= IE7SVCPACK= INCWMPCSKIN= INCALLSKINS= XPIZESW= FORCEXPIZESLIP= INSTALLRC= I noticed there is no mkisofs.exe or CDIMAGE.exe in HFTOOLS folder. How do you create the said ISO? Is is use by HFSLIP to create ISO after slipstreaming automatically. (provided it is set in HFANSWER.INI) HFTOOLS folder should also contain boot.bin (Sorry, can't remember why need it there, way too long to remember why...LOL)
