Wimmount.sys was re-installed using "WimMountInstall.exe /install" via admin command line. After rebooting I tried to run RT7Lite and I got the "WAIK Installation" prompt as if RT7Lite did not understand that I did have WAIK-Win7 installed. Reinstalled WAIK, set wimmount.sys again as described above, and I still get the RT7Lite "WAIK Installation" prompt. Any ideas? I had the same problem.Intrestingly i did a complete Win7 reinstall on my machine.Installed 7 Lite and then installed WAIK and behold - no more prompt

I think that error is specific to this update.I dont have it and rest of my 298 updates integrate fine.

The reason why it runs on high priority is that people reported problem with normal priority.Specificly when program was minimized it could not me maximized again without manually setting to high priority.So Ben set it to High by default. What OS are you using Rick? WAIK for Win7 and other needed components are installed?

Upgrade to latest Build 1.06 Looks like you still have 1.05 This function was added in 1.06 (from my recommendation).

The DirectX standalone updates rarely upgrade the OS DirectX version(exept when DX9.0c came for XP or DX11 came for Vista with the platform update) The standalone updates only update various DX components to newer versions. And yes.Even if you have Windows 7 its always good idea to install the latest DX standalone update for maximum compatability because Windows 7 default newest DX files are from 14.07.2009 that is the Win7 RTM compile date. Only thing i miss with DX standalone updates is changelog...what was fixed,added etc... I too unpack a new DX update and create SFX archive with WinRAR for easier install.Also i always download the offline file(~100MB) because i hate the webinstallers lol

If you remove drivers they are already removed from driverstore and no.Do not delete this folder.You will also install/integrate your own drivers and they are put also into this folder so it needs to be there.

At this time only with reverse integration. However if Ben decides to implement some SP1 integration option i am ofcorse happy to test it because i generally always have the leaked SP builds to test with. Still i suppose integrating it wont be easy.Remember with vLite and SP1 & SP2?.MS could change something between them and it would totally break SP integration. I thinks its best to wait until SP1 gets more mature and then starting to see if and how it can be integrated.The current build is a very early one and even in virtual machine it caused several problems.Also my friends have reported problems so if you decide to install it then dont do it on a 24/7 machine.Rather VPC or separate partition.

I ran into this as well, although I was able to bring it up after a few tries. I wonder if the cpu priority of the program is such that it is slow to respond. Seems so.7 Lite runs with Normal Priority by default. I changed to High and was able to bring it back up after a few clicks

which file you tried to add in secure list? I had the same problem but i figured it out.There is no need to include path for the protected file like windows\system32\Magnification.dll Simply add Magnification.dll and thats it. Ok heres the problem.After installing vLite i cant mount WIM with DISM. It simply errors out. I have looked over the wimfilter,wimgapi and other files and all seem to be correct 6.1.7600.16385 and not older ones.Also have WAIK for Win7 installed(not the older Vista version). Last time i uninstalled vLite and somehow managed to get DISM working again but this time it seems completely broken after vLite install. I will later add the error lines from DISM log after trying to mount some wim file.

I would not touch UAC with a 10 foot pole even if my life depended on it Would this be the temp folder for windows or the temp folder for the 7Lite tool? Same here.Nothing removed and Install.wim still at same size. Other things that could be improved: *Ability to check folders for driver integration.RT 7 Lite finds all nessesary .infi files from the folder and its subfolders.Also i hope it knows how to use /ForceUnsigned flag for non WHQL drivers? *Ability to integrate not only .theme files but also .themepack files that contain all nessesary resources. *Ability to cycle trough options with doubleclick, instead of selecting option from drop-down box.This can speed up option setting quite a bit.vLite does this for example. *"Protect Feature" option.Like in vLite where you select features to keep and vLite warns if you try to remove components that would brake that feature. *Tooltip about Red components and short comment what removing them could brake. *Auto detect Silent Installers for program integration.Currently i havent got a clue how to check if program executable supports silent install or not?(short of testing each one one-by-one) *Ability to load previous RT 7 Lite settings(not implemented completely yet?). *Ability to change TEMP folder location from RT 7 Lite settings(like vLite does). *Show current operation on bottom of "Log" window`s progress bar.For example: Integrating KB123456.msu ;Removing: Accessibility and so on.Like vLite does.Currently it only shows Preparing and such general messages. *Future Win7 SP1 Beta/RTM integration support?
