  1. You cant use OEM restore CD because it does not contain full Vista(correct me if im wrong). All Vista setup files have to be extracted into a folder before you can select them with vLite. Its a lot easier to download a proper version from internet(you use Home Premium x86 right?).And then activate it with your vista key and/or modify with vLite

    Driver Signing

I have also posted this in the suggestion box.The more people tell that this is a problem the sooner its gone.Last time i had to click yes 66 times in a row .Thats an extreme case but neverless...the driver signing is even more annoying during install than UAC during everyday use .Not to mention that when you have to click yes then it takes extra time...ie...Install takes longer...and you have to babysit it
  3. Its not possible yet. There will be option to do this sometime after final version of SP1 is out. You have to find the arabic languge pack in .msu or .cab format.Im not sure if it works but you can try this: Make sure you havent downloaded anything with Windows Update(exept WU self updates).Open C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and leave the window open and go to windows update and download arabic language pack. When download is complete check the opened window(Download).if youre lucky then maybe you see a .cab file there that should be the language pack .if you have many files and folders in there you can use the column "Date Modified" see the last folder modified by windows.I actually deleted everything in that folder (not reccommended).Other way is to search google in english and arabic for arabic+languge pack+cab+msu .That should find sites where those word are mentioned in one sentance.
  4. Or you can download one from here: http://keznews.com/3634_All_35_official_Vi...Packs_x32___x64 It is .exe but when you click install it generates a temporary .cab file into same folder.Dont install the language pack when it starts installation.Simply make a copy of the .cab file and copy it to another folder. Then use vLite to integrate.Actually i tried this with my language but when installation phase expanding files reached 100% error message was displayed: Could not install the selected languge (although English was selected and no other Language related files were removed with vLite.Only thing that i could come up with was that .cab of the languagepack was corrupted from the start).
  5. Any hint what updates can we expect from beta3?.Doesent have to be full list of changes.Just the most important/bigger changes
  6. My first post here .Ok.Here goes: Since i do a lot of vLited Vista clean installs then i have noticed a few things that vLite could improve further: *If the image to be installed contains integrated drivers that are Beta then during the vista install Completing Installation phase vista constantly asks for confirmation about if i want to install this unsigned driver.Trust me when i say...its not pleasant to click the install this driver anyway box 36 times in a row .It sorta demolishes the all unattended install idea. *Before the first login vista does a ~60 second scan for performance evaluation(performance index). There should be a tweak to lose this .In the end the score attained is not valid anyway because graphics score is 1 on 8800GTS SLI until installing drivers(5.9 after drivers installed).Thus...why run the performance evaluation before first login if you have to run it second time anyway to get correct numbers .Also i doubt anyone is eager to see all the PR texst about simplicity and so on .... *As some here have said...there should be fourth tab in vLite to integrate various registry settings/files.
