i agree, that's not a problem of firefox or opera, is a idn's problem by itself. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And they are blaming firefox? Does Ie have the same problem as well? ( I seems to remember that IE doesn't support IDN at all )

BTS, could you make a "beta" with Moblity support ( I suppose the current version already support intel's chipset ). Because there is nothing wrong with the orginal but only IBM laptop.

Thx, BTS Just to point out if you include ALL intel driver ( including Mobile ), you have already cover ~56% of total PC market. Add in ATI, and Nvidia you have more than 90% ^^

ATI driver could be modiefiled to support Moblity. Check Driver heaven for Petej tools. I am wondering will you support Intel Mobility Driver? I don't know if they are the same though........... i am using i830 which isn't listed on here.......

I am trying open a .PQI drive image File using PowerQuest Image explorer. The Drive Image file is from my Recovery CD But it is password protected. Does any one know how to find out the password? ( Since it is from Recovery CD is must be in the CD somewhere.... )

I know this may not be the best place to post but since there is a pined topic at the top so............ I can see AutoIT script is good for Program don't have slient Installer, or a way to do it. But i have a few questions on it. I haven't actually test it yet so it may sounds stupud. I have the script to install a App. So the app will shown up and everything will be pressed as if i was pressing it on screen. However is there any way to hide it so that these setup screen doesn't shown up like in RunONcex.cmd??

Does slient install support changes of Installation shortcut, or destination? If not any way go around it? ( I could manually move my short cut in start menum but then uninstall of a program would left the links in there....... )

I am sorry i missed windows installation helper, that was my mistake.... But what is .inf method? Never heard of that. And i someone has try them all please listthe Adv and Disadv as well. Coz it would help a lot of users.

I don't undertsand a word that is said in Method 2, so if this is solve by this method than please ignore my questions. ( If anybody could put the difference between Metho 1 and 2 in simple fashion i would be very greatful for that. Anyway i have heard of messy story on method 2. So please enlighten on it ) I have few questions on Method 1. 1. The Drivepack i downloaded contain many sub folders. On the instruction in Method 1 state that Sub folder scanning is not supported. Would that means i have to put all .inf on the top level? 2. These method copy driver to C: but we delete OEM folder after Installation complete, example what happen if i have a Wlan card i plug in after ward? Are there any way to intergrate it into driver.cab? 3. Does window actually read from Driver.cab everytime? ( Wouldn't it have to decompress it everytime than ? ) 4. I was thinking why aren't there any driver pack for Chipset and graphics card? I think WLan and Lan have loads of Vendor and it is a hell of a job to download it all. While Chipset and Gfx only have a few Manufacture? Gfx = ATI + Nvidia + Intel + SIS + VIA + Matrox.. and chipset is like = Intel, Via and Sis .....

There is quite a few. Klite Mega Codec Pack that include everything. Storm Codec Version 5 ( Coming out in a few days time ) Which said to fix all problems, intended to be used with WMP10 but also has MPC in the pack. Codec in this Forum. ( Currently testing it )

My last CD ( Long time ago ) was made with CMD batch file. It looks ugly but it gets the job done. And it is the easiest to learn. Now that many new alternative is out. I am wondering what do you use for your CD? I had a Quick look through and RunONceEx looks Ok and slightly harder to learn. But it lacks a Progress Bar. Any other alternative?

I need Quicktime, and real. But i don't need BS player. I don't need ..... All three pack has things that i don't want. So i am asking if stripping from installer is possible. Of course i am only wondering. If everthing was so easy there wouldn't be 5 million codec pack out there.
