well that's a good find, but instead of using $OEM$ to integrate the dll's nuhi would just add them to txtsetup and the other files so its copied to the correct place

i can confirm this on 2k3 also how to i get it back?

Just did my native test, everything worked perfectly, all drivers (including nvidia IDE's), SP2Beta2/IE7/WMP11 Integration theme's/reg settings/services (altho ICS was changed to automatic, it still complained when i turned on windows firewall and needed to start it) Windows Server 2003 R2 Screen Shot

@nuhi, for the USB polling rate patch, could i get 1000Hz in there please? then its one less thing i have to do when i do an install. thanks. btw its just half the number used for the 500Hz patch, 2 i think it would be.

@nuhi, found out why i got the xmllitesetup.exe error on Server 2003 when integrating IE7, its KB914783 and already included in SP2 beta2 2805, so there's nothing wrong on your end with nLite. Just thought i'd give you the heads up. it most probably runs without error on SP1 sources

@nuhi, if you noticed i encounted that xmllitesetup.exe error before outcast, the error does not happen when installed on Fresh slipstreamed SP2 Beta 2805, only when trying to integrate maybe because its not a 8.3 name? but apart from that error, everything else went ok and no missing stuff from what i can tell.

IE7 Integrated into a Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise, With SP2 Beta2 Refresh 2805 perfectly, Great Work.

Just tried integrating IE7 into 2003 Server, and it got halted and asked me to ok a message box, said xmlsetup.exe is not for this Windows Version, so i clicked ok and its continued then finished as usual. yes i am using the server 2003 build of ie7

Just a quick update, uxtheme.dll patch works fine with 2003 SP2 Beta 2 2805.

BTW, I Forgot to add the OS Was Windows Server 2003 R2 Std Edition Service Pack 2 Beta 2786, and RAID BIOS is 4.52

Thanks for your post, because this certifies, that the new WHQL integration method even works with nForce3 chipsets.CU Fernando The drivers were NOT WHQL signed, the cat files were not even there in the folders

new method worked flawlessly here (legacy as txt mode and sata_ide as PNP) used to get endless reboots before, board is in sig used the drivers from mei's remix 6.10 (ide's are version 6.86)

Ignore the above post by me, stupid n00b mistake, forgot to enable uxtheme.dll patching lol works perfectly with SP2 2786 beta.

the uxtheme patch is not working on win2k3 server with latest codejunkie update pack, or with sp2 beta refresh 2786.

Tried again, this time intergrating codejunkies Server 2003 update pack, then exiting nLite and then staring it again and doing the useual with the new source and now it went like clock work, users added ok (altho leaving the Administrator account name empty was not allowed so i used * then deleted it again in control userpasswords2 when it installed) and the reg patches worked this time. so maybe its to do with intergrating update packs RyanVM/Boogy/CodeJunkie etc? one problem tho, i have an addon that installes RoyalMod VS theme, and that did not work, could just only select XP theme, same addone worked in 1.01.

any news on my problem Nuhi? the add user's does not work, and most but not all reg tweaks do not work on Server 2003 R2 Std Edition.

a little update, my themes are not being installed, added users not being added, and some reg settings like "services on my computer context menu" are missing.

tried the new beta on windows server 2003 r2 std edition, and it looks like it not reading all the settings, i have added users and there not used, and i set up my desktop resolution to 1280x1024 and it defaults to 640x480 when it finished installing and asking for first logon. normaly this works with 1.0.1/1.1 must have used nlite about 300 times and its never got things like this wrong before. btw i liked that i could remove more with 2k3 now below is my lastsession.ini LAST_SESSION.INI

is this a nVidia only problem, as i've been using Server 2003 R2 Std for about 6 months now, and have never had a game complain about DirectX (did have to manual install DirectMusic tho) card in sig

i ALWAYS remove .net from 2003 and install .net 2.0 as i dont see the point in having both around, never had any trouble

this is kinda useless, the whole point of changing 2003 server to workstation was to use the new windows/kernal etc, but as xp x64 and 2003 x64 are the excact same thing, why not just run xp x64 edition?
