Found it, to save the DEP exclusion list export this key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers]

I'm on a nForce3 platform, and i just use most of the drivers for the nForce4 boards (as of writing this, version 6.70) and the gart driver is included in windows 2003 i slipstream all the xp drivers, and the ati catalyst 6.3 drivers into my main install disk using nLite (windows 2003 R2 Ent) and it all works great hope that helps, if not pm for more details.

what i did is extract the root of CD2 into the root of CD1 so that so that WIN52IA.R2 is with the other ID files (Along with the other files and folders, overwrite any files it says, (only two autorun.ini and one other), when it is installed just click next on the R2 install box that appears and then it will continue ,the ISO is just under 700MB (695MB) and fits on one 80min CDR, no idea how to install the R2 components unattended

answering myself here, i just copied the root of CD2 into CD1 and it worked fine, the iso was just under 700MB and after it installed and logged on the first time it just continued to install the R2 components

Hi been messing with Windows Server 2003 R2 Trial Edition, and was wanting to ask itf its possable to combine the two disks aka Slipstream, i noticed the slipstream.inf on CD2 but have no idea how to use it. Thanks. Lemonzest

you tried running the installer in xp compatibility mode? i had to do that with Logitech's SetPoint Software (Mouse Drivers)

well on the box it says "Designed for Windows XP" andi n everything it works fine, MSN/Yahoo/Skype/VirtualDub. But it wont show up in My Computer as a capture device like it did in XP.

Hi i have an install of Windows Server 2003 Ent Trial going, and i have everything set up except my webcam the drivers are installed and works fine in MSN Messenger and Yahoo! but it does not show up in My computer or as available to Windows Image Acquisition when i enable the service everything freezes and then i get an error saying could not start service. Worked great here on my Lanparty NF3 UT 250Gb (nForce3 raidbios 4.52) with driver version 6.22 (from 6.82 pack) and Nlite 1.0 RC5

Lemonzest edit: does not work with creative drivers either.

the version of WMP10 in Windows Server 2003 SP1 is 3700 in the pic i posted the version is 3802 so i guess the Slipstream worked on The Server

@boooggy does it? i had not noticed since i dont normally use it. edit: yes it does Windows Media Player 10 is installed as part of Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1. This version of Windows Media Player includes security fixes and new functionality. false alarm

@Gnome, the icon is in the start menu of normal users just not the administrator i found that out after making a normal user. So it looks like everything is the same as Windows XP

just tested it, and it seams to work perfectly, but there is no shortcuts in the start menu, had to run wmplayer.exe from the program files dir edit: The icon is in entertainment, but no icon on the start menu like xp. yeah thats what i have done, seems to work ok and wmp10 reports no updates needed.

thanks for that, i sorted out the latest dll's. do i have to enclude the cat's? or can i just cab them and drop them in the i386 after streaming wmp10?

by updated dll's i mean i extracted the updated dll's from the wmp10 hot fixes, cabed them and over wrote the exsiting files in the i386 folder, all went fine. wmp says no updates needed. windowsmedia10-kb893240-x86-enu windowsmedia10-kb893241-x86-enu windowsmedia10-kb898549-x86-enu windowsmedia-kb895181-x86-enu these are the hot fixes i used, the other ones were older, these are the newest i could find.

hiya, just posting to say works perfect here. nlited, ryanvm striped and updated the dll's (see my other post). on xp pro (english).

Wizzard sounds good how about removeing SP2 Stuff: Security Centre Firewall NX Stuff Lol, what else does SP2 add? then the normal stuff System Restore WFP Help Centre WMP9 MM2 Themes??? IIS IE OE OOBE WSH How about every **** thing except whats absoulty needed and how about some choice in what stays ie, old scripts. remove entertainment means bye bye volume control and i wanna keep calculator. so yeah choice will be nice would like to help too. rid the bloat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
