well,nuhi try all nothing work .......what i found is that the Vista version that i'm gonna use is Home Premium and no matter what i did when i create the DVD it shows Home Premium like this: Vista (vilte) Home Premium, even when i have nothnig check or disable

nuhi i just make a new Vista DVD, i didnt remove any component, the only thing i did was disable UAC, select my zone settings and nothing more, still I cant install SP1!!!!!

so i have to reinstall???

i create a new Vista Home Premium DVD and install it last sunday, yesterday try to install SP1 and i get this: error code: 0x80070002 any ideas how can fix it so I can install SP1......thankz

just install XP using nlite RC2 everything fine except that i cant install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0: x86 (KB928416) from windows update, any idea how to resolve this??? thanks

just format my laptop make a nlite cd everything fine till i go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Windows Componets: Setup was unable to open information file msmsgs.inf The specific error code is 0x2 at line 0 any ideas how to fix this? thkz!

I don't really care what you like. Icons are there to express feelings and right now since I have been searching for over an hour to fix this without having to reinstall vista and my 12+ apps I'm kinda p***ed off. So without your poor feelings getting hurt how about providing some type of solution to get the service back in vista. edit: just because I'm a smart a**: :realmad: :realmad: dont be a jackass!!! vlite its a beta and a **** good one, u just pay the price of messing with it, u dont like it, dont use it!!! moron!

Have the same problem also. Changed background and text is no longer transparent. Have changed the setting in System properties drop shadow on desktop icons and it has no effect .
