February 8, 200818 yr i create a new Vista Home Premium DVD and install it last sunday, yesterday try to install SP1 and i get this:error code: 0x80070002any ideas how can fix it so I can install SP1......thankz
February 8, 200818 yr Dont remove any components if you want to install SP1 , yes im serious. The only thing to do is wait for pre intergrated Sp1 discs to become available
February 9, 200818 yr Author nuhii just make a new Vista DVD, i didnt remove any component, the only thing i did was disable UAC, select my zone settings and nothing more, still I cant install SP1!!!!!
February 10, 200818 yr There are some drivers that block SP1, thats why they are delaying it.Also make sure not to disable any services, especially Windows Update.And for the heck of it try reenabling UAC. Edited February 10, 200818 yr by nuhi
February 10, 200818 yr Author well,nuhi try all nothing work .......what i found is that the Vista version that i'm gonna use is Home Premium and no matter what i did when i create the DVD it shows Home Premium like this:Vista (vilte) Home Premium, even when i have nothnig check or disable
February 11, 200818 yr If you just select Unattended, ISO creation and on Apply choose Save Changes Only then it won't be changed in any way.If your SP1 still fails with no components removed then it's hardly vLite issue but to be safe you explain to me how exactly to test for that.
