  1. Have you tried VistaGlazz?
  2. This works fine in the dev version. It's probably an Inno Setup issue. Try downloading the test 0.20 version of innounp and replacing the innounp.exe binary in your existing install then extracting again. Excellent, thanks! Indeed works fine now.
  3. Thanks for the link to the beta!
  4. Same here geek! I think most of us are use to having loud nosies around us so when its quiet it drives us mad. Or perhaps we are just weird. Anyhow, my main PC gets rebooted every few days. I always end up doing something that requires a reboot. My laptop though has been up for 4 weeks (running linux) and my test PC has been up for over a year (not connected to internet and besides its running a beta version of windows xp (yes xp not vista) still - haha, time to format for sure).
  5. Well, if I install SP1 on my asus laptop it will boot up only once and then if you shut it down and then boot back up, you cant. It blue screens with an error about the registry being corrupted. I've confirmed it 4 times in a row, Microsoft is working on a fix. Then again I notified them about it during the beta too (over 6 months ago).
  6. Did you have this problem before installing SP1? If not did it happen right after installing SP1; if so most likely a new driver is required.
  7. Hello, Your router is the DHCP server, not your VoIP Vonage phone/hardware/whatever it is. So the vonage system will be getting its IP from the router. If it is not getting one then something is wrong with either its settings or something is wrong on the router. Or bad cables/hardware. So again your router is giving the phone the IP address. If you want to make sure you "can't" forget the vonage IP then dont use DHCP, use a static address on the phone. That is an address that never changes. So no way to "forget". Or if you do then you simply look what is set to on the phone. Of another way to do it, is still still use DHCP but assign a static address to the MAC address of the phone. This way it will always be assigned via DHCP the same IP address. Dont do it on both though, thats going over board and not needed. And while your at it why not simply right the IP address on the phone itself. In case you did forget it. But no you never having to reset it anything just because you forgot the address. The router will tell you what IP address it assigned if using DHCP or static. And of course the phone will tell you to if you look though the settings. Oh and I dont have vonage so not a clue what phone system they use. So cant say how you would go about setting up a static address on itself. So really I would simply setup the router to assign the static address instead. Then again if you forget the address you just look up that setting in the router. Well, hope that helps... Take Care, Will PS: Please don't quote my entire reply when your replying right after me. I'm not blind and it's considered rude. Of course if replying on a different page # then said previous reply, then it's fine to quote. Thanks! OH and you should never ever quote the original post. No one in their right mind skips the first page. Again it's just rude. Everyone has probably seen it a "million" times.

  9. OK then you should tell the user that when they run it easy enough to detect OS version also can you please make it remember window location or at least open centered screen oh and the link to your site on bottom of window and on Tips and Tweaks page should open in the default browser not just stupid IE lastly that would be nice if the icons tab shows the default icons not just blank squares
  10. Your welcome. I highly recommend that most people do NOT install it just yet. It causes my laptop to no longer boot for example.. Many new hardware drivers are coming out to fix this known issue.
  11. Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig /all Should tell you all you wish to know. Default gateway is the ip address of the device. Copy and paste into browser and hit enter. Now you will be taken to the devices admin control panel. Most devices have simple default passwords which you should be able to easily finding searching with google.
  12. Why is this in the vista forum? lol Should it not be moved to feeback?
  13. I love my D-LINK DIR-655!! No problems at all, however you are limited to 250 connections which could be a problem if you do a lot of p2p.
  14. On launch I get: This is on Windows XP Pro. SP2 by the way.
  15. And in case you where wondering why there is version 2 in the first place...
  16. Someone will come up with another, but yes, SP1 disables the current BIOS cracks. ... When you made your post the "new" bios crack was already out. lol Some people (mainly stupid a** media) are just now hearing about it though... Media is always far behind and don't have a clue...

  19. Google is your friend, take advantage of it. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en The Windows Automated Installation Kit (Windows AIK) is designed to help corporate IT professionals customize and deploy the Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 family of operation systems. By using Windows AIK, you can perform unattended Windows installations, capture Windows images with ImageX, and create Windows PE images.
  20. I would go back to XP myself and not worry about it. No "real" benefit at this point in time running vista over xp, for gaming. DirectX 10 is not that big of a deal but if you just got to have it, then really only reason I know of to try and fix the issues. Wast of time, money, and effort otherwise, in my so humble opinion.
