  2. Hello, Well, something else is going on now.. Here is the simple batch file I'm using: @ECHO OFF TITLE Finishing Custom Windows Install SET KEY=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx REG ADD %KEY% /V TITLE /D "Finishing Custom Windows Install" /f REG ADD %KEY%\030 /VE /D "Installing Applications" /f REG ADD %KEY%\030 /V 1 /D "%windir%\system32\hide.exe /w \"%systemdrive%\install\finish\appz.cmd\"" /f REG ADD %KEY%\035 /VE /D "Removing Unused Folders" /f REG ADD %KEY%\035 /V 1 /D "%windir%\system32\hide.exe /w \"%systemdrive%\install\finish\unused.cmd\"" /f REG ADD %KEY%\040 /VE /D "Applying Registry Settings" /f REG ADD %KEY%\040 /V 1 /D "%windir%\system32\hide.exe /w \"%systemdrive%\install\finish\registry.cmd\"" /f REG ADD %KEY%\045 /VE /D "Rebooting To Finish Install" /f REG ADD %KEY%\045 /V 1 /D "%windir%\system32\hide.exe /w \"%systemdrive%\install\finish\cleanup.cmd\"" /f REG ADD %KEY%\050 /VE /D "Deleting Install Directory" /f REG ADD %KEY%\050 /V 1 /D "%windir%\system32\hide.exe /w \"%systemdrive%\install\finish\done.cmd\"" /f REG ADD "HKCR\Folder\shell\List Contents\command" /ve /d "hide.exe %COMSPEC% /C DIR ""%%1\"" /B /O /S>""%%1\""\"_CONTENTS LIST.TXT"" /f ECHO. EXIT Oddly enough, the title is never added to the registry. Does not matter what the title is; I know it's not spaces. If I simply double click on the batch file the title is added correctly. Yet when it is run from a different batch file the title never gets add. It shows up as "Windows Update" when ran. Really weird! Thanks again, Will
  3. Well I be darn; glad it was something simple! Working excellent now.. Thanks buddy!!

  8. You might want to update "Help > Website" to point to version 1.7.2 instead of version 1.62 .
  9. worked on http://www.msfn.org/board/redirect.php?url...ecoverSetup.exe so i can confirm it works what would be really sweet is if universal extractor could self update, as in being smart enough to know when there is a new version of an internal tool used and ask the user if they wish to update and download the new build and then extract automatically...
  10. http://www.diydatarecovery.nl/downloads/De...ecoverSetup.exe Any chance of extracting soon?Guessing yes since this was able to extract it just fine: http://innounp.sourceforge.net/ Update: oh that is what you use, sweet, just downloaded new build and extracted to %ProgramFiles%\Universal Extractor\bin and now able to extract the file nice!

  22. Format and Reinstall Vista!! Those **** recovery disks and partitions are crap. They are filled with adware/spyare/trial crap. And God only knows what else. I've found porn on "new" laptops from Dell before. I've also found unauthorized (by me) software on "new" PCs, including pirated software, spyware, adware, fake VPN software, fake anti-virus, etc. Most likely though if you not buy a copy of Vista then you will need to. Most crappy a** companies (dell, gateway, etc.) do NOT include a copy with your PC. These s***ty companies get paid to include all this crapware (almost always including norton anti-virus) on your "new" PC. Not only is this crappy software a problem but many of the default settings (including security) are changed. For example your home page, search pages, etc. Back doors have been opened up by these crappy software so that they can function. For example many of them open up ports in the built in firewall. Email security settings have been relaxed along with UAC so that this crap can operate without promoting you about everything. Hackers/crackers know about all these default settings so makes it that much easier to get something bad on your PC. I highly highly recommend you format and start with a clean copy of Vista!! If you did this the day you got the PC its not that big of a deal since you got nothing important on it to lose and its really easy to do so. Just put in a vista cd and when it asks you where to install you simply format the drive and then install. That's it. 2 hours max (took 30mins to install on my ASUS laptop). Do a bit of google and your see how rampit this crap is. It's no joke.
  23. This works fine in the dev version. It's probably an Inno Setup issue. Try downloading the test 0.20 version of innounp and replacing the innounp.exe binary in your existing install then extracting again. Excellent, thanks! Indeed works fine now.
