well there are a diff nlited xp much faster but dont forget that vlite is 1.1 and nlite is 1.4 in vlite 1.4 i assume that vista will be much faster

i did same tests with vmware and low the memory each time[check my posts], the memory used by vista got lower and lower too however below 130MB of memory used its got really slow i think vista used the memory without really need and about 150mb used its enuf to run vista fully http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysintern...on/bootini.mspx mayb those options could help /BURNMEMORY= • Specifies an amount of memory Windows can't use (similar to the /MAXMEM switch). its could be that vista think that is a another hardware u got

try using regedit /s newsettingforfirewall.reg at windows xp its working its should work in vista too however the ownership might disable u to do that

i guess with imagex /mouterw u could do that..

vlite works very well with vista wim file its might work well with xp too

just wondering if that is possable to make nlite, make a wim image of the windows xp and installed it as vista ? if yes its gonna be ?

i duno if there update installation of vista if yes u could just update ur vista from new vlited vista with that stuff that missing and those will update after the installation is done i think....

but u use one edition and applying on it many vlited profile how come is not legit ? @nam265 u didnt get me fully i just want to make more vlite profile on one edition lets say 1. a fully edition 2. full edition without langs and drivers 3. like 2 and few more stuff that removed 4. ripped off everything all those proffile will be the same windows vista ulimate edition

right. i had that option and did not delete nothing but still one option was there before start the installation the vlite ulitmate how i could more vlited profile and put them in the same image?
