nice tweak that could help the boot time change the services to automatic [ delayed] here the list in picture its would be nice to have as default even before making the changing of services like nlite have

with aero i guess its 450mb "default ones" of server edition about the old game fix that its was DEP

i will give my option on server 2008 1. windows server 2008 rc1 1.7GB [5.7gb hdd space ] 2. the lite ver take about 3giga hdd space and 700mb iso [if u use WAIK u could make it 2.7GB and if u use more 2.34GB] 3. stability: 5 satisfaction: 5 [ fixed that ] i stop using vista cuz its loaded of stuff i wont use mostly vista start with 800mb of ram used and server much lower around 400mb

just save the help and winsxs that's all my extreme vlite is 1.6giga hdd space and i use WAIK to do that [but after alot of testing] the normal vlite is around 2.34GB hdd space [ again with waik and removed alot of Packages] notice that i use waik to pre-install [offline install] aero then i could save more space and delete the help and tablet pc and the feathers add-on didnt work after that anyway the aero is installed already so i dont need it

@WiCiO u could save more space if u use waik to pre-install them with pgkmgr.exe and then del help and tablet pc too its will take ur hdd space to 2.7gb GL

the installation need to be have 256mb of ram but after that u could low it [easy with vmware] and test it try maybe server core its use very little memory [but no GUI] and space [ with winsxs removed just 450mb]

i add 2 giga of ram to my system [now i have 3giga] i change the pagefile to 200mb start size to 4500mb Finish size the system dont use it i guess its use the hibernation's file instead everest info: Paging File C:\pagefile.sys Initial / Maximum Size 200 MB / 4591 MB Current Size 200 MB taskmgr info: 756M / 3219M btw even the system is heavily working the pagefile is not used fully

hey all @ MagicAndre1981 i did configure and install with pkgmgr.exe [offline installation] so the files from winsxs already did "their job" @nuhi well if i remove the tablet pc [after used the pkgmr.exe to install those components ] and tested it on vmware[all fine] so vlite still working gr8 on server 2008 so i guess its all about winsxs with few files recovered all come to work its might help vista
