  1. I want some CASH!
  2. Don't make me WASH your mouth out with soap!
  3. Yep. Now I have to think of another word.
  4. Can you tell us what these computers are running? I assume they're all on XP of some sort, but it would help to know if they're on XP Pro, Home or Media Center. Thanks.
  5. For those who don't read slashdot and haven't already heard... Google earth 4.2 has a flight simulator built in! It's not there by default; to enable it you need to press Ctrl+Alt+A, and after that, it will be under the tools menu. It's not the best simulator out there, but it's pretty cool. I've already crashed quite a few times. Have fun everyone!
  6. I don't use the Media Center part of Media Center very much at all. But, XP MCE came with my computer (OEM) and I didn't want to pay to upgrade to pro. I'm not on a domain, so it doesn't really matter; It's nice to have the features of pro for less. I'm just saying it's possible to put MCE on a domain, and it is not illegal or in violation of the EULA. I never said it's a good idea, I just said you can.
  7. MITH is not a word. Starting again with PITH: LITH
  8. Excuse me while I go puke... I need to take a stomach PILL
  9. Are you trying to RILE me?
  10. I got bored with the standard BartPE wallpaper, and decided to take the Windows Server 2003 wallpaper (since I built my PE disk on Win2K3) and mod it to say BartPE Edition. I also made a windows nt 5.1 version for those basing their cd on windows xp. They're compressed in a ZIP archive attached here. See thumbnails below. Let me know what you think! BartPE_5.2.zip (The windows xp version didn't fit because of the max upload size. If anyone wants it, PM me. This one's cooler anyway. )
  11. After install? OK, I'll try that. Thanks!
  12. There is nothing in the Windows XP Media Center 2005 EULA saying that joining a domain is prohibited. It's just changing one registry value, so I don't see how it's illegal. They say it's "not designed to" and that those features aren't "included", but it doesn't say it's illegal. Also, it should be noted that during setup, you are actually given the option to join a domain; the option is just grayed out later.
  13. I bet ROME fell because everyone was playing this game all the time and doing nothing else!
  14. I really am going to sleep now. I'll think about a new one for tomorrow.
  15. Post #309 - I'm so excited I'm banging pots and PANS! Do posts in General Discussion not count towards post count? It appears that way. Too bad.
  16. SINS (OK, I'll stop and give you a turn now)
  17. SANK SINK
  18. With a core 2 duo, both cores will be used. *Most* group policies can be set through the registry. Not all though. Wireless is fine Yes, MCE can be joined to a domain. Just my $0.02
  19. Sorry about all that and the dupe, I guess I'm getting tired. I wonder how many WATTs our computers used on this one thread? I'm sleepy. Too much fun and running. Edit: That yawning emoticon is making me want to yawn. Darned little animated GIFs can even spread yawns! Aaaaaaah! Run!
  20. Both would be too difficult to keep track of. I vote we go with SLAT as the last word. As our handy moderator, maybe you could clean up some of the confusion by removing the un-necessary posts in between? Or should we leave it in for humor? Anyhow, I didn't mean to offend you, I just over-reacted. Please don't SLIT my throat!
  21. GAAAAAAA! YOU BEAT ME BY SECONDS!!!! *%^$& YOU! RRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH! I wish you bluescreens and crashes! :realmad: :realmad:
