  7. That's a good laptop. I have a Turion too, ML34 @1.8GHz. Works great. But my next laptop will be a Core 2 Duo.
  8. Well I'm doing the same as well. I hate the interface of the Gimp, but it is, like you said, usefull for doing easy things. Unfortunately Photoshop + Wine doesn't work that great.

    I played the demo today. man this game's gonna own... And it plays perfect on my laptop (Turion@1.8GHZ, 1,256 MB and an ATI x700 128 GFX card.) Cand wait to play the full game Here are some screenshots I made.

  23. I still don't understand why MS changed the Longhorn UI, it was much more cleaner then it is now. If you open Windows explorer you see everywhere a button, same is with the control panel. I know Vista is Beta, and I think MS will change this (I hope so). Otherwise Vista will look good but it will not be userfriendly.

  25. I'm using speedswitchXP on my laptop which has an AMD Turion processor. The speed of the CPU is 1.8GHz but with that tool I keep it at 800MHz. You can try it, maybe it works for you too.
