  1. link is dead!
  2. I respect your attitude. But we drink CocaCola, here. B)
  3. NP! You're welcome.
  4. Now, you're mixing politics with drinks as you mixed pepsi with alcohol! Do you think you can put a threat against people who like COKE? No, you can't. Well, I like all people who like COKE. I like Nazi, Al Qaeda, and Hitler, too; if they liked COKE. However, and for the sake of gamehead200, I like drinking PEPSI; but when there's no COKE in place.
  5. No! You still have two mistakes in your script. First: (in red) Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell") Second: You haven't put a sleep interval. This is necessary because Device Manager takes time to refresh itself. NB: I used js, only, because I can support it if wildman asks more. My script should work as vbs, too. A few modifications are needed.
  6. Yes! I don't know where people bring that slash from. Here's the official article for the Reboot property.
  7. I'm not sure if this is what you need: SMBIOSW You can search it, too.
  8. So, what was the trick? CDCACHE? EDIT: AIO Maker? Here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...ndpost&p=158563
  9. It depends on the installer type. SFX and MSI are editable.
  10. That won't work, either! This JScript script MUST work. (save as .js)
  11. These lines: should be: Otherwise, the problem is that you misspelled the word "Applications" as "Apllications", as said by lpl. This is the cause of "wrong path" error. If you want to switch to RunOnceEX, RunOnceEx.cmd Creator should make it for you.
  12. Actually, I can't tell from where he wanted to copy and to where he wanted to paste! So, I can't decide where to tell Registry to find the source! Or I might need to sleep now!
  13. Execuse me! I can't understand! %systemroot% is not C: %systemroot% is Windows folder.
  14. I think Alanoll's should work fine. Also, I think there's no point in setting two variables for the same drive.
  15. I've got no problems with your new release. It works well. Thanks.
  16. Execuse me. Are these correct or just typos?
  17. This is the only one that works for me from a CMD!
  18. There's a topic covering this issue. You can search for it!
  19. Well, prathapml! No problem giving a quick shot /off topic/. This is what I say: Reboot is a property. (Nobody said it's a switch) Either Suppress or ReallySuppress is a value. Either Reboot=Suppress or Reboot=ReallySuppress is a switch, as I said above. Why? Because any command put on the command line for the purpose of changing the behaviour of installation MUST be called a switch. Or I should say: What does a property do if put on the command line? Nothing, of course! Moreover, those switches aren't picked arbitrarily. Each switch has its own purpose. Plus, Reboot=S and Reboot=R are also correct! No slash in either case, as I said above. ChEeRs!
  20. 25;'Norton Systemworks 2003';'Setup.exe';'/qn /Reboot=Suppress';0
  21. All these demands in a single app?! I doubt it! I suggest: InstallRite or DeepFreeze. Hope it helps.
  22. Take care of this switch: /Reboot=Suppress. It's not correct if used with the slash.
  23. It's nice of you. Thanks.
  24. more & more suggestions...all are good. eagle00789 has got much work to do. B) Well, here's mine, too: - There should be a way a user can add his own apps to the database in a GUI env. - When uninstalling the app itself, tabstop must go to Yes, not No. Thanks for your easy and simple GUI.
