  1. I dont see the problem there , since placing a new install.wim would do the trick. And with the tool i posted, there will no bad hotfixes, cause it skippes hotfixes with errors.
  2. What do you mean "never gonna be" ? Never heared that before. Actually Bashrat said in the Driverpacks forum that driverpacks for vista are being developed. So where do you get this information ? Bye, Alex Bashrat is a personal friend of mine. Here you can find some : http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5032
  3. I always integrate hotfixes in an already integrated image , without any problems. Drivers can be integrated only once. I hope not , cause it wil result in a very long setup, integrate is much faster.
  4. For the hotfixes you dont have to start clean. The drivers is another story
  5. Bashrats packs are not for Vista and never gonna be for Vista. And about searching , if you searched you would already know that. For Vista there are other tools , i personaly dont use Vlite for the driver part, because of this.
  6. no it finds it and it works.. its does say PEIMG completed operation successfully on the command prompt... just doesnt commit the changes afaik. It does commit the changes perfectly here, so are all other options You need waik installed on your system to use the tool !!
  7. With the 1.0 tool you can choose to install all at once, or one by one. Make sure you dont hide the command prompt. And how to see if they are installed, i thought you already asked. http://www.msfn.org/board/integrated_updat...010#entry706010 Just use waik so see the packages.
  8. I posted Vista-Tools 1.0 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...st&p=704903 You need WAIK to use this. Tested , and works fine now.
  9. Once you are in Vista after the setup, go to control panel , add remove programs ,show installed updates. Or before the setup you can open the install.wim with WAIK , and you can see the packages inside the wim
  10. I used this tool to slipstream : VISTA-TOOLS 1.0 Download : Vista-Tools Size : 203 kB Packed size : 84,8 kB MD5 : FA3BEC702BA67A27100BD63D043A3682 Credits : Jan WAIK has to be installed
  11. Make sure the old version isnt slipped before slipping the new version
  12. I removed ALL the display settings from the XML , works fine here.
  13. Is discussed many times before shouldnt be hard to find
  14. OK, your sad looking emoticon helped change my mind ... Install this addon, then from within winamp go to options/preferences/localization and choose from the list of available options. shark <<------
  15. Not if you removed all files exept boot.wim and install.wim from the sources folder. Then use the files in the mounted install.wim
