so you mean for example remove all them lines that ive just pasted in my previous post,, but wouldnt that stop quicknote from installing at all ? or if i remove every line that has a path into it,,, does that path get recreated with a default one ?

@LaptoniC im having alittle trouble installing the extension quicknote, you say to edit out the prefs.js file by editing out all the hardcoded addys im not really sure how t do what you ask, i know the addys need to be removed like that but does that mean we leave that part blank from " to " ?

well unattended,, dosnt wait for a license agreement thats all worked out throught the winnt.sif file,, what is the os your working with in your unattended, ? and have you added everything already to this disk like progs and so forth... ? im guessing its slipstreamed with sp2 if your on xp ive had many of curruption errors before when i first started out.. i suggest that you start off with a basic disk first before adding to it so you can test it,, if it works good then add alittle bit more and then keep testing.. use vmware its faster the vpc to test your iso's ,, heres a tip if your not really sure on your winnt.sif file and your fairly new,, try using nlite to slip stream and create a basic winnt.sif file,, it will also creat the iso for you to test or use.. once you do that then you can edit more to the winnt.sif and then go the oem folders.. these are only my suggestions they do make things easier and they help prevent or pinpoint what the problem really is. so try to just start off with a slipstream and integration of all hotfixes with the winnt.sif file to test .. it may help out im sure some one else might have some better advice for you,, but i hope mine helps you out some

actually longhorn is in betta to a few selected few.. but yes it not very compatibily with many drivers as of yet and it should most definatly not be used a replacement for another os that is stable like xp

the plus version has a better ability to connect to a variety of servers plus you have a few more options..

what type of things is she downloading ? and ye setting her up with a limited account would prevent her from installing things to the pc and if your worried about content you could use the parental control in xp or you could use a program like net nanny,, to prevent her from viewing certain things

are you just interested in scanning your pc for viruses ? if so try an online scanner like pcpitstop.com you can scan for trojans and even tweak your pc with there advice.

hi everybody id like some insight on streaming video across the internet live or not live.. has anyone in this forum done this ? and if so what would you say is the easiest way, to accomplish this ? and also whats your favorite pogram to use to do this with ? im still saving up money to complete my server and i should have it ready by mid summer,, but the streaming video is for mainly personaly/family reasons like family vids of vacations or kids growing up. if anybody could give me any helpful advice to point me further in the location then ive been going in ,it would be helping me out alot and id appreciate it.. thanks

is sof supposed to keep your alteration settings.. meaning if you change the way things are ordered around at the top of the broswer,, like for example moving the search bar down on te bookmark bar and adding a few extra buttons .. im having trouble having these settings stick for me so that they are installed the way i put it. any way i could do this ? i would say the key is prefs.js file but i cant seem to figure it out

hi i seem to be having trouble with the global keys in winamp,, ive always had this trouble and i was wondering if anybody else has this problem and has anybody got a fix for it well heres the problem on my logitech keyboard theres the standard media buttons, like play stop fast forward, next track,, ect ect.. well with winamp, i can only get my play, pause and stop buttons to work with winamp,, im not able to get my previous track and next track, buttons to work with this but yet if i go into the global keys settings they are set to work... does anyone else have this issue, ? and if so do you have a fix for it ...?

that dosnt sound good have you tried to restart the process of reformating and reinstalling to see if this happens again ? and btw is that a standard os disk your installing with or is it a modified one for unattended needs ?
