If all those make use of other files, those can be replaced with newer versions too.I've described in those posts linked - to replace the liveupdate,livereg,and such components of NAV. I'm sure NIS is also modular enough to make the "replace with new files" possible. I just reformated and installed everything. i had to dl about 20 MB of updates for NIS and Norton Antivirus. I would really like to know how i can intergrate those updates. for NIS 2005

crahak's script does not work for me. it only installs some but not all the extensions. why is that?

i know i know i like rar files as well. but the point is mostly advance or knowledgable people will know rar most common people still use zip.

Very Strange Gmail Wont allow u to attach zip files, but will allow rar files. what is up with that? I wish for xmas that gmail will give the option to create folders of mailboxes. it is like a jungle out there with a couple of 1000 messages.

Pezzie u said something about copying... humm could it be your media? hv u tried in VM? can u try something out for me. can u download the FLY winntbbu.dll i made and try it out? and see if u still get the same error? lets start with that first. hopefully we can solve this mystery soon so i can update the guide. i forgot to ask are u using nlite or something similar? @ ClauSoft pls also try to download the FLY. pls also note that if u modify something outside my guide, I might not be able to help. @ alanoll he error he mentioned... i hv never seen that before.

u can do it. but it isn't easy. bashrat's method is excellent.

the registry is very very dangerous place if u don't know what u are doing. i think you don't know that if u right click your my documents on your desktop you can specify a new Target directory. lets say for example target is F:\My Documents my pictures my music my whatever will automatically be created inside the target. u then use regsnap to take a picture before and after then u take that registry tweak and put it into your U.A.

RyanVM has a modified adobe acrobat "READER" on his site. it is really small in size super compression. check it out.

google apps all use /s switch. I tested it already. NVDVD is something i could not find anything on.
