ok i did the search bit could not find anything. setup is made by installshield I tried the setup.exe -R getting a setup.iss file. put that into the same directory and i run using setup.exe /s I get this box

you dont understand what i said. I have one SFX EXE file within that file, for example: resides file1 file2 file3 and so on and so forth. each one will extract to a different directory get it.?

A majority of us here us Winrar SFX. But Winrar has a major flaw in my opinion is that it can only extract to a single path. Is there any compression software that can handle multiple paths. Example if i have file001.XXX <- extract to c:\download File002.xxx <- extract to c:\temp File003.XXX <- extract to c:\ images In a single Self Extracting file. Simon has every pluging already included in his package. thank you but it isn't my method i just found it at the mozilla forum and help from some of the developers i contacted to help me make a simpler install method. partly bec. i could never get Crahak's method to work. kind da suck why it doesn't work for me. I also see some of these plugins are already in the pack... so this means you don't have to install them anymore? correct. u dont I have tested this already.

If you use Norton Internet Security 2005, each time u use your U.A. XP You will hv to download all the updates, currently i think it is about 15 MB. Does anyone know how i can capture those updates and integrate them into my Norton Internet Security 2005? It is a pain to download the updates again and again, each time i test my U.A.

I just want to say winrar is your friend. with winrar u can repack nero so that u can save space, and place the switch into the comment. so u dont need to add switches anymore to your runonceEx.cmd. same with winrar and powerdvd. cheers

btw taiwan is slashing all their 4x dvd +R media, since they believe people will prefer to use the 16X DVD +R media. so if i was a gaming company. i would be sure to go with dvd, HOWEVER, what if my customers dont have a dvd reader, oh yah.. they wont buy it! hehehehhe

what is the spec of your computer? maybe is not up to standard for xp
