April 30, 200719 yr This is my first topic on this forum.I just formated my C partition which was my OS drive. I have a lot of data on partition D. But after i reinstalled Windows XP Professional i can not acces drive D. It shows an dialog box where it says that drive d is not formated and ask me weather i want t format it or not.I do not to format drive D because i have a lot of data in it.Is there a way i can open drive D without loosing any data?
April 30, 200719 yr have you tried accessing it from NC in dos? i recommend you to [wiped by moderator] try accessing the drive in dos with nc.then try repairing the drive with partition magic [wiped too] tools.Post edited -- No warez here.--Sonic
May 1, 200719 yr [wiped by moderator]@CyrilMost probably you accidentally "fdisked" the partition table. The simplest way out is to use this program:http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDiskto try and rebuild it, of course IF data has not been overwritten.Do take your time understanding how to use it.jaclaz
