dirtwarrior Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 (edited) Does anyone know where to get chieftec cases in the us? Edited March 8, 2007 by dirtwarrior
gamehead200 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Ha. I picked up a Chieftec Dragon case for $5 from someone selling it on craigslist. Came with 7 fans and 2 neon lights. http://www.chieftec.com/products/Workcolor/Dragon.htmHave you tried eBay? Might find a few used/new on there...
puntoMX Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Nice cases indeed, if you can´t find them in the US then look at Casetek. They have similar products, also Antec does.
dirtwarrior Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 I am going to look at them Thanks. I am looking for a simple sexy silver case with good cooling.
nmX.Memnoch Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 FrozenCPU used to carry them. Directron.com still carries some.
dirtwarrior Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 I really like that chieftec but I dont think they still sell it. Trying to find the right case is very hard. It is a balence of money, looks and cooling. I like silver cases but with a simple sexy eligence. I have been looking for days and narrowed it down to a few. I like silver but a few are black. Check them out and tell me what you think. Most are under 100$. If you all can think of some I should consider please include links.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811147033http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811147037http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811119075http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811166030http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811165007http://www.globalcomputer.com/applications...&CatId=1509http://www.globalcomputer.com/applications...&CatId=1509http://www.globalcomputer.com/applications...&CatId=1509http://www.svc.com/cav-t03-uw-19.htmlhttp://www.svc.com/va3400sna.htmlThanks
Woomera Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 (edited) My choice's:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811166030http://www.globalcomputer.com/applications...&CatId=1509 Edited March 8, 2007 by fatalwoomera
dirtwarrior Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 Thanks I respect your choices. Now if I can get jeremy or punto to take a look.
puntoMX Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 (edited) Okay, looked at the cases a bit but I can´t open the pages from newegg right now, I´m going to try that in the night, could be a traffic problem or so.What I would not buy is the Thermaltake case, just to much bells and no quality; flimsy materials and cheap looking plastic, if you know what I mean. The CoolerMaster cases are are nice, not too flimsy 0.8mm SECC steel and good plastic makes it an atractive case on the outside, and in the inside you have lot´s of space for a Mid-tower.The Dragon is a Full-towercase. Are you going to place the PC on the ground? If so I would look at a case that has airfilters that you can clean easely.Going to take a look at it in the night again, I will keep you informed when I see some thing nice at newegg .EDIT:I saw the RAIDMAX SMILODON, I like the design of it, how it´s constructed, but that´s just me.You were asking for Chieftec? Now I remembered that CHENMING has exacly the same cases as they do and they sell them at Newegg as well.CoolerMaster CM Media 281 is one of my favorite cases from noe, it just came out. And if I needed more space then CoolerMaster Stacker would be my first choice altrough some people say it looks ugly by design but they don´t have style .The thing is that I don´t know your budget, what you are going to do with it and your taste, well, besides the cases you posted . dirtwarrior Posted March 13, 2007 Author Posted March 13, 2007 I saw the Xion Hydraulic ATX Case in silver on the web site but only can find it for sale in black. Any info on the silver one?
