hakeem5454 Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 usually in windows xp to run msconfig, you would click on start, then run, then type in msconfig but where do i go in windows vista to do that? there is not start>run option??
Hell-Rell Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Try Restarting your PC and Start>Run> Msconfig again or try Msconfig32
luke.mccormick Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 run is not in the main part of vista's start menu, it's in accessories under programs.
wfunction Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Does this help?Right click Start Menu->Properties.Customize it so that it contains the Run dialog...
Cybertronic Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Just type msconfig in the search box on the bottom of the start menu and it'll appear
John456 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 That's one of the wonderful Vista features, a search and run box in one. It's awesome.

Dobby Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 WOW! I liked the interactive search box but being a run box as well that's just excellent! Just tried it out. Works a treat! Not only that but you can select the folders while you're typing by pressing the down key then carry on typing the rest of the path. Sweet!
