Super-Magician Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I'm sorry, but this version is not new. It has been out since beginning of November if I'm not mistaken.
S3pHiroTh Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Yes is extactly equal to the november realease, no one file is modified. I can't understand why microsoft release 2 times the same application...
glentium Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 but then, it wouldn't hurt to download and use the 'latest' release in our install source, i guess..
Super-Magician Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 @glentiumOf course it wouldn't, but this version has the same exact size and checksum as the November release. Besides, you had to use the Nov. 2nd (or later) package to successfully slipstream it.
glentium Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 hmmm.... well then, I guess the only thing that was change in WMP11 is the download page...
Kiki Burgh Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 this is even posted here: http://msfn.org/comments.php?shownews=19310 ... showing as Windows Media Player v11.0.5721.5146 for x86
Super-Magician Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I know, a bunch of sites are doing this. But there is DEFINITELY no change.
