Need suggestions for video software

Featured Replies

Hello, I am trying to find some good software to merge video files together and to convert files so I can play them on my dvd player. I tried to use Adobe Premiere but apparently my processor sucks and doesn't support something. Anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Does this allow you to combine videos also?

Yes. You can even make a menu if you'd like. Or simply add them one after another and they'll play back to back.

there are also other freeware tools that are quicker and smaller:

- JoinAVI

- JoinMPEG

- JoinASF

I know that you have to use different program for each movie sequence but with those utils you don't have to reencode the movie unless they use different codecs for each segment but usually if you're talking about movie sequences like movie01.avi, movieXX.avi dloaded from the same site you don't need to.

VirtualDub

I use Pinnacle Studio...not free, but **** brilliant!
