Anabolic_OMEN Posted November 19, 2006 Share Posted November 19, 2006 hello,i have an original oem installation cd that is unattended for the cd key only the rest is punch in values and go..the problem is the instalation is broken if i install windows xp from that cd my laptop with which this cd came with will lag and be slow and other problems i have bothered dell for like a month about the slowness they neglect anything is wrong...anyhoo if i use my legit cd key that i extracted from winnt.sif on my original oem cd and bash it into my custom cd it wont work so i googled the issue and found something http://www.petri.co.il/use_oem_version_to_upgrade_xp.htm so i copy the details from my original oem cd into my custom cd so it changes as little as possible and lets me use the cd key but it still does notplease help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
