BDD 2007 RTM now Available

Featured Replies

Ah, but I nitpick - you posted the German version (which was indeed available yesterday). This is EN-US :).

I actually started d/l this but didn't want the full BDD 2007 so went and started the other. Both of these posts are identical and are the WAIK and not the BDD.

Last BDD I d/l was 1.5GB. this is only 829mb

my mistake Maxx, it is just teh WAIK

They are not kidding with us this time. No ProgramFiles variable for FolderLocations!

Sure there is - it's in Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup\FolderLocations (when using Windows SIM).

Found this on the ProgramData

After removing all the user-specific folders from Windows XP's Documents and Settings folder, Microsoft has renamed that folder ProgramData. The bulk of the contents from the old Documents and Settings folder is in the new Users folder.
It does get confusing but I've still been able to use %ProgramFiles% as I need to.

Isnt this is the final version of BDD 2007?

Do WIM and WAIK included inside this package?

The WAIK included is RTM..on the connect site i just downloaded the entire BDD 2007 (1500MB) and it was listed as Beta 2..but included the RTM WAIK that was posted at the top of this thread.

Anyone know what version of imagex i need to mount and edit the WINFLP.WIM for Windows XP Fundamentals? Tried the RTM and always get a "Header dont match...blah blah"

Just for the record..for WINFLP.WIM you need Ximage b4059.

Search google for ximage.rar
