jcarle Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 P.S. - Dangit jcarle! I'm not an electical engineer... It's Engineering Physics! Bah, physics, electrical, it's all engineering anyway!
jcarle Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 This off topic guys!, mods please closed this threadYou obviously are oblivious to the problem. Your motherboard died because your power supply fried because the electricity is messed up in your house.
Zxian Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 This off topic guys!, mods please closed this threadLike jcarle said - this is not offtopic. You should look at getting yourself a Kill-a-Watt meter. It plugs into the wall socket and lets you plug your devices into it. It'll show you voltage levels, current, power draw, apparent power draw, and total energy used. It's very well worth the $40.
Jeremy Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Its always does from any part of my houseJust because it seems normal to you, and that no real danger has ever resulted from your apparent conditions, doesn't mean that there isn't a problem and it won't cause danger later on. Do as Zxian and Jcarle suggest.
LLXX Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 This off topic guys!, mods please closed this threadThink about that when your house finally burns down.
