junale Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 i want to integrate my favorites into the unattended cd, how to to that?maybe just copy them to the userdir, but how to find it? i don't want to copy it to an path like c:\.... because of different languages. is there any %userdir% or something like this?
Bachus Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 I compress my favorites, quick launch icons and start menu shortcuts into a rar file and then use unrar.exe (I copied it to the system32 directory to make things easier) to extract the file. Simply use a path like %systemdrive%\whatever you want. Of course, this won't help if you're using different usernames so in that case I can't help you.

Aaron Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 Some people use an SFX archive to extract the favourites silently. Or the %USERPROFILE%\Favorites using XCOPY like the others have suggested.
