Kelsenellenelvian Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I tried using the installer you posted. Scanned it with Nod32 and installed it and searched the registry and (drum roll here) NOTHING!
Nakatomi2010 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I could see the spyware if you clkick on one of the Google ads on the page, but that's not their fault, they can't control the ads....
Lost Soul Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I won't be so courteous about it.retox, you're an id***.You've come to the wrong place to insult nuhi. I respect and will stand to defend nuhi anytime.lmao.. ditto
Kelsenellenelvian Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I also compared the md5hashes with the one you uploaded and the one I downloaded the day it was released and they are the same so yea I agree with everyone else you are a fracking moron!
rado354 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 (edited) LOL someone has to be punished for spreading bul***** and that's not nuhi that's for sure This reminds me of a song: Ban ban, I shot you downBan ban, you hit the ground... Edited October 24, 2006 by rado354
RogueSpear Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Usually these cry wolf threads only last about half a dozen or so posts. I suggest we go back to that. There are enough people here, myself included, that have enough experience with malicious software of all kinds that we can easily put this bed now.
Madhits45 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 (edited) String him up for all to see.. Good lord.. So hes a lil full of pride and made a mistake.. No need to murder him and his family and burn his house down. Or is MSFN the new mafia and Nuhi the Godfather.LOL Edited October 24, 2006 by Madhits45
mazin Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 if no one else reports it then what am I to think other than it's on your side somehow. That's it. A single report is nothing.
Viscon Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 got the installer from retox, installed nlite...clean install on my second drive where nlite had never been installed beforeBit Defender Plus v10, latest virii definitions, didn't alert at all during installation process, and while running nlite.same with The Cleaner - no alert about any trojan.same with AdAware SE Pro - nothing found.scanned again with Bit Defender with "deep scan", memory scan and for rootkits and malware - nothing wrong either.also - during setup and while running - nlite never attempted to call anywhere.my firewall didn't alert that it's trying to connect through internet.the only registry entry i found was "uninstall" nlite.no trace of "sudoku" and other suspicious entries.
KindHead Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 check the registry for the word "sudoku" nLite installs sudoku software on my machine?Sweeeeeeetttt!!!!! I love sudoku puzzles!!! They rock!UPDATE!!!!I have also scanned my registry for any entries labeled, "solitaire" and "FreeCell".Looks like this is worse then we thought.
