What AV works with 5536?

Featured Replies

I had used EzTrust on previous Vista build but when I tried to install on 5536 I got a message about it not compatible with 5536. I was wondering what other AV you guys using on 5536?

Thanks

i don't have it completely yet, but on vista 5384 i used Avast Antivirus, you might try that, its even free, and registering it is simple. :thumbup:yes:

Ez will probably require an upgrade as it wouldn't work in 5472 either (it blue screened a machine) remeber that with this beta software that AV usually isn't such a big deal, new version come out so often that anything that is released for one version of vista won't work with another. give it time Come RC1 everything will come together

The beta version of PC-Cillin for Vista downloadable from www.trendbeta.com works great. If you have downloaded this before make sure you have the latest version ( 14.56 ).

Avast! wouldn't work for me on 5536, but worked fine on 5472. Now trying PC-Cillin (Trend).

I use the Beta of Symantec Corp 10.1 for vista and it runs and scans and looks like it works but I get a popup from windows security saying it is disabled...

yea, the only PC-Cillin i found was $20.

so i'm using AVG. as long as it works im happy.

also, all you linux users, doesnt 5536 look familiar? fonts, mouse, layout....
