Guest manic23
It seems to me that now MS have stopped all support for 98, this superb little application is screaming out for a final update with all the updates up until the suppport stopped. Is this in the pipeline at all? Edited July 31, 2006 by manic23

LLXX
I know, but I still don't use it. I have it installed for it's codecs but I use ActiveMovie Control instead - AMOVIE.OCX v5.01.70.0327. Only 167,184 bytes. This is what I use too. Uses much less RAM and CPU than any other media player I've tried, since ActiveMovie was originally designed to be embedded in another document. MDGx
I've also been "toying around" with AMOVIE.OCX a while back, but I like Media Player Classic [MPC] 6.4.9.0 better.MPC has built-in codecs for most of the standards out there, unlike M$ Windows Media Player (WMP).And MPC works also with embedded streaming media [server side scripts].So I have replaced WMP as default internet media player with MPC. bilemke
Recent find I like.. The win32 port of player.. I knew about mplayer for linux for quite some time, but the win32 port is nice now too..http://www.mplayerhq.huPlus, if you want a GUI for it (since it is command line control normally)http://mpui.sourceforge.net/
