I need a software hex patcher creator

Does anyone here know a freeware Software-patch creator that hex modifies a certain value in a exe file? Kindof like what some crack applications do, but legit.

well xvi32 has scripting capacities and you can turn that into a simple exe with winrar or 7zip easily.

i dont think theres a dedicated program for that tho

Hmm, what I need is something that creates a hex editing patcher, e.g.

The Form says:

Enter application path: ____________

and a [APPLY PATCH] button

There are so many of these out there... everyone has his/her favorite.

...those are probably ~1% of all the patchers that have ever been written.

Even though some of them are called "crack generators", they can also be used for other, legal purposes as well.

Not to mention the main executable is 192Kb and requires another Mb or so of "runtimes"... also written in VB... I'm very discouraged from trying it now.
