Bummer... Looks like KB911280 for Win2K is not supported. It contains a new binary (netdiag.exe) of which the destination is defined as follows: "destination determined at runtime". I see no other option than to install the hotfix as is from SVCPACK.
Netdiag.exe is among the files in WIN2KSP4\SUPPORT\TOOLS\support.cab

I believe it is a linecmd tool and can just be dumped into SYSTEM32, though should prolly just be set aside so we can just stuff it into the backup TOOLS dir or wherever.

The latest one I have w/o the patch is from 09/20/03, version 5.0.2195.6824

We are indeed on Wednesday here.

These exams are driving me nuts. Hopefully, my holidays begin Friday at 4p.m. :/

Indeed, we were on Tuesday, even in France. :D

Anyway, exams OK.

And that's all, I will have to wait for Friday to test. ;)

The current test release dumps it in the SYSTEM32 folder. Do you think HFSLIP should update SUPPORT.CAB too (if it exists)?

My vote is to dump that netdiag all together. But maybe to keep others happy, perhaps the best is to stuff it into that tools directory in the source.
