I have ordered a lot of things directly from microsoft, and it always seems that everything is backordered. Regarding VISTA i haven't recieved an email saying 1) it has been shipped or 2) its on backorder.

Usually after a week or two i would get an email saying its on backorder.

Is anybody aware of the turn around time for the windows Vista beta (CPP) dvdrom (shipping to .us)?

1-4 Weeks from the time that it was released.

Ive been waiting over two weeks now for delivery of the DVD set.

I got impatient and went to the download site, received th eemail with theserial number but cant get it downloaded due to demand and my pitiful connection!

Oh well, patience is a virtue - or so Ive heard!!

I got my ordered in 7 days both 64 bit and 32 bitt i live in kansas city mo

i got mine in around 2 hrs for both 32 & 64bit of vista

it took my about 4 days to download when i got it started

but i was downloading other stuff as well

for the 32 bit ver

once you get in its fine for downloading

it was the frist 9 or so days when it was released it was mad to even try to get access to teh website to downlooad the vista

Got mine in 5 days.

4 weeks in the UK. That's the max time they said it'll take... why I couldn't get it in 7 days?

Took me 7 days--be patient.

It looks awesome--a friend of mine had the original beta version that was released to developers, amazing what improvents have already been made. (too bad I can't get wireless to work though).

Took only two weeks for me
