I have visited few shops today and I'll go crazy, I hate to buy myself a new piece of hardware, 'cause every time I have second thoughts and doubts...

I'll show you few monitors that were interesting to me and convert the valute to USD so you can know the prices in Croatia..

Ok, I checke the picture on few monitors and one of them is:

BENQ FP93GX 19"

Interface DVI-D sub

Brightness 300 cd/m2

Contrast 700:1

Response Time 2 ms Gray to Gray

I can say that this monitor has very good picture, maybe the best I saw in that shop, very warm and good colours...

Then I saw the Samsung monster:

Synchmaster SM 204b 20"

Display 20.1" Colour TFT LCD

Dot Pitch 0.255mm, 15pin DVI D-sub, 300 cd/m2 , 800:1, time 5 ms, 1600 × 1200, 160/160 (H/V)

743$

LCD 19" LG FLATRON L1932P

LG FLATRON L1932P, 19'', 1280 x 1024, 700:1, 300 cd/m2, 4ms, 170°/170°, D-Sub, DVI

445$

What do you say about this monitors guys, I don't know nothing about BENQ, Samsung doesn't seem to have very good colours.. LG is a bit cheap...:-)

Also, I forgot to mention that I would love my monitor to have a thin frame, just like BENQ does...

C'mon gurus, do you have any rewievs about these monitors shown above?

Viewsonic's quality really has fallen off in the last couple of years. I've got a friend who purchased one of their 19" CRTs a few years ago. The original monitor had a crack on the upper right hand corner of the front plastic. He returned it to them three times...and all four monitors had a crack in the same spot (crack was different each time so it wasn't the same monitor he was getting back).

The last one eventually went bad...the picture looked like he was playing a 2.40:1 movie on a 4:3 screen and it couldn't be adjusted. He replaced it with a Samsung 19" CRT and has been happy ever since.

(0) zero dead pixel guarantee for (90) ninety days on our VX724, VX924, and all our VP series LCD monitors from the date of purchase.
that's a good guarantee for viewsonic monitors ;)

tom's hardware also recommends the VP191b as the best quality/price 19" monitor

let me remark again the hyundai l90d+, it's nearly $400. i speak from experience, really good monitor, you can even turn the panel 90º so you can read webpages on a 1024x1280 resolution :P
