slimzky Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 (edited) browser hijack? Edited April 23, 2006 by slimzky
N1K Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 browser high jack?Yes, I would say this too, try to scan ur PC from malware, adware or spyware infections..This is most certainly a browser hijack..
amit_talkin Posted April 23, 2006 Author Posted April 23, 2006 hmmmm..thanks for suggetions....i will try to search if there is any spyware!
amit_talkin Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 Ok..i have tried to search for spywares & adwarez ..but i have found nothing about it! anyone can help??
spacesurfer Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Not all spyware is detectable. Some programs are better than others at detecting spyware and I don't think there's any out there that will detect 100%.Also, do you have the latest updates on the spyware definitions. If not, they it could be a new spyare. But I agree it does seem to be a browser hijack problem.
N1K Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Ok..i have tried to search for spywares & adwarez ..but i have found nothing about it! anyone can help??Try to scan ur PC with Windows Defender or with Spyware Doctor which isn't freeware but you can install a demo version, check ur PC but you won't be able to delete the infected files...In this case at least you could see if you're PC has been infected..Good luck..
amit_talkin Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 i have scanned my pc with spyware doctor & ad-aware SE Pro. but i dont think this is due to any spyware or adwares....i m using my unattended windows...and this occurs since i m using it 1st time! so i think there is problem within some addons which i have added with nlite or something else!
