LLXX Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Download and install .NET Framework 1.1 from Micro$oft site.
coocy Posted April 16, 2006 Author Posted April 16, 2006 What will happen to Visual Studio and sql server 2005 ?
gunsmokingman Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 Nothing it should just install without problems.
coocy Posted April 16, 2006 Author Posted April 16, 2006 Do you mean that I should install Microsoft NET Framework 1.1 over Microsoft NET Framework 2.0 beta ?
SomeoneElse Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 You can have both (1.1 and 2.0) .NET Frameworks installed at the same time. Just download the installers from microsoft, then run them. That's all there is to it.Why do you have .NET Framework 2.0 Beta installed though? 2.0 became final in November 2005.
Innocent Devil Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 .net framework 1.0 and 1.1 will not do that ,they need to be installed in the orderbut 2.0 allows u to update 1.1
coocy Posted April 19, 2006 Author Posted April 19, 2006 I have 2.0 beta because I still have the beta versions of vb.net and sql server 2005 installed on my computer.I guess I'll have to use the final version.Anyway, thanks for all the advice Coocy
