Well its me again :)

I need an answer to this:

On my Xp sp 2 i installed Microsoft NET Framework 2.0 beta required for Visual studio and sql server 2005.

Yesterday i tried installing the videoediting program Vegas 6 D .... BUT it asked for Microsoft NET Framework 1.1 service pack 1.

How can I solve this problem?

Coocy :

Download and install .NET Framework 1.1 from Micro$oft site.

What will happen to Visual Studio and sql server 2005 ?

Do you mean that I should install Microsoft NET Framework 1.1 over

Microsoft NET Framework 2.0 beta ?

You can have both (1.1 and 2.0) .NET Frameworks installed at the same time. Just download the installers from microsoft, then run them. That's all there is to it.

Why do you have .NET Framework 2.0 Beta installed though? 2.0 became final in November 2005.

.net framework 1.0 and 1.1 will not do that ,they need to be installed in the order

but 2.0 allows u to update 1.1

I have 2.0 beta because I still have the beta versions of vb.net and sql server 2005 installed on my computer.

I guess I'll have to use the final version.

Anyway, thanks for all the advice :)
