wow this is a truly excellent little gadget. up until now ive been using hashcalc which is also excellent. anyone know if this can be made so that it can be installed from the svcpack.inf

I also love this program! My biggest problem with it tho is that you cant save hashes easily, or i just havent worked out how to do it yet.

This HashTab does not seem to install properly on 98/ME. The file gets written to my disk but it seems nothing gets written to the registry.

I have tried to use regsvr32 to register the dll as you can usually do but it won't work.

Can someone be kind enough to post the registry entries Hashtab writes in your system ?

usually when i calculate an md5 sum for a file it takes a while, how does this program compare?

when i view file properties will it 'pause' to get the md5?

It does not "pause" straightaway, it calculates the MD5/CRC only when you select the tab (general/summary/Hash).

And yes, on really large files, it does take a while.
